I am lvl 15 and my only driver is level 6 and have been given the choice to train up another driver, should I or concertrate on 1st driver.

I only have one driver as well so far, but he is level 21, I think for the endurance races you will eventually need more than one driver that has some experience though

that doesn't make sense, how can you be level 15, and only have 1 driver who is level 6? I think I am also level 15 and have 3 drivers now, one is level 9, the other is level 7 and I have a new one who hasn't raced yet.

Do you mean your A Spec is level 15? what about your B Spec level?

drivers have mood swings and get tired, so if your driver has a down arrow you may need to use your other driver, plus you need mult. drivers later in the game. And they only have X amount of races in them, so if you only train one, at some point he will retire on his own and you will be left with no talent drivers (not that Bob is great even leveled up, but you don't want to start at level 0 again for tough races).

I'm working on 4 at the moment.
My top guy is at level 18 and my other 3 are at level 5. Trying to get them all ready the Endurance races.

Add new drivers whenever you can.

As you level up your 1st driver, more events will open and you'll have more cars in your garage to play with. When your 1st driver gets to around lv10 - start racing Bob v2.0...start slowly and get him up to at least lv3. Now, you can throw Bob 2 into the deep end with and level him up quicker. Use an AWD beast (GTR?) and try to keep him cool while blasting by opponents on straights.

You'll level up Bob2, and the next drivers, quite quickly this way

I've managed 4 level 12 drivers, as Bruther says once you progress further and more races open Bspec training gets really fast.

I got 6, it's really easy to level them up when you're a higher level, I even let lvl 0 drivers join endurance races togheter with experienced drivers and they go up from 0-12 in 1 race.
Don't really bother levelling them up below level 15, it just takes too much time.

Yes I am a spec lvl 15 and my b spec driver is lvl 6 , I am stuggling to find races for my b spec as have a list of recommended lvls for b spec to do a race and he isnt high enough for most ones he hasnt done ( does he get more Xp doing same races again ???

I have 5, and all of them are 17+ one is a 21. I have tried to train them all equally, and raise their levels at a similar rate. Plus it's nice having options for when that little orange arrow appears next to one of your drivers names.

what does that mean is he tired or something ????

which race do you recommend to level up your drivers quickly? my Bspec lvl is 11 and i have 3 drivers. two at level 9 and one at level 1. any suggestions??

I would like to know this to, It seems like ages to level up B spec drivers, I am lvl17 A spec but my 3 drivers are lvl 10 , 3, 0 , Any ideas

From what I can gather, yes, that is exactly what it means.

Now I could be completely crazy... but I dont think that is correct. Ive noticed the arrow going blue->green->orange when i give my driver very fast cars and just let him win solely based on that without any input from me.

However, I've seen the arrow go orange->green->blue in successive races as well, this is when I gave my driver just enough car to win the race and then used the commands to get him to just barely win. I think it might be more of a morale indicator or something, and the drivers get upset when you dont communicate with them or you give them too much car.

But as I said, I could just be crazy. :P

I've got 5 drivers and they are all levels 14-15. I want to train them all up to at least 21 before I get into endurance races.

EDIT: I'd love to know what those arrows are. There is nothing about them in the manual...I guess we are just supposed to guess or figure it out on our own?

From what I can gather, yes, that is exactly what it means.

My highest-level driver (13 as of last night) had an orange arrow and I put 'him' in for a 10-lapper. His arrow was green afterwards.

The race wasn't particularly difficult for 'him' but I was still surprised...

I also fail to understand why the arrow can go from green to orange even when they don't race.

I suspect you'll need more than one driver for the endurance races. So, it's best to have multiple drivers ready for that. As you'll probably need to change them at each pit stop or two.

This is very interesting. I have not personally noticed this, but if its true, it certainly negates my theory from above... Unless not racing them is seen as neglect by the driver, similar to giving them too much car or not giving them any feedback/commands.

Who knows. They aren't explained in any guides, anywhere. This is all just pure speculation at this point.

Hmmm, you might be right... maybe the arrows are driver mood rather than a specific fatigue indicator!

I'm working with 4 B-Spec drivers now so I'll try to keep a proper record of how the arrows react to differing situations.

In the extreme series there are some races where you use 2 drivers.
And for the first three endurance races (lvl 25, 26, 27) you can have 4 drivers each. I'll soon unlock the lvl 28 race so I can tell then about that one.

Well, I didn't do any B Spec Racing for about 5 days, when I left my drivers they were both up arrows (green I think) when I came back 5 days later they were both down arrows (orange?), I raced each of them about 4 times and they were still down arrows. The next morning they were up green arrows!!! So i guess the races boosted their morale.

I have also heard if you race them too much it will go down orange after a while. So maybe its both fatigue and morale, which would be horrible because how are we supposed to know which it is. PD really did a horrible job with this, no explination to it no advanced mode showing drivers feelings or fatigue, just stupid arrows that sort of randomly change.

two things I would love in a patch which will never happen:
1) Damage indicators showing exactly how much your engine and chassis are damaged so we know if its worth the 1/2 new price repair bill!
2) B Spec driver improvements, as far as telling us more about the drivers instead of just stupid arrows! Arrows are great for a quick glance but let us see more info if we want.

Can B spec drivers wreck your car, I never give them my best ones as scared they wreck them ????

I have almost completed all Beginner and amatuer events. I usually give them my top cars and they have never put a scratch on them! They might bump a few cars or slide out, but never close to flipping it...

Id suggest only working with one Bob till u reach lvl 25 and unlock endurance races.

As soon as u hit that go make how many drivers u like.

At the first race i think u can select 4 Bobs to compete, give them a Over the Top car like the Minolta, and dont touch the "Auto-Pit" setting just let them pit whenever the tires or Gas wear out (Yes they will run at completely empty Physical and Mental strength, but it wont be a problem).

You will earn 10 levels easy (each), and there will be so many Grinding to do here at the enduros, that ull have prolly 6 lvl 40 Bobs before the Career Bar is full.
