How many cars will there be in GT4?

I know it is a stupid question, because this isn't confirmed jet.
But I looked to the car list in GT4, and it putted me thinking: How many cars will be there? So look for your own and put here what you think. I think 250-350 cars.

PD said 500+, if they do 250-300 there will probably be people complaining. 300 is plenty but i can't see them saying 500+ and then going down 200.

You should check out The359's Master car list ( )which is up to 365 cars. While this isn't an official list it's by far the best list i've seen, due mainly to the359's sterling effort creating it.

Between that list, the cars in GT:C, those in GT3 and cars yet to be announced; 500 cars seems quite possible.

According to several interviews/articles with Kazunori Yamauchi, there will be at least 500 cars in GT4. Maybe, as many as 700 cars, but the list that contains 700 cars is not real.

My guess is, there will be 535 cars in GT4.

I'm gonna go completely mental with hope and say 800+. Although 500+ has been mentioned by several people including Kaz, he has also stated that GT4 will have more cars than ANY previouse GT game, and GT2 had around 600 cars so that automatically makes it 600+ cars in GT4.

Anything above 594 is definite, GT4 will hav more cars than any other GT game and GT2 had 594. And I doubt it will be 595-599, over 600 is pretty much a dead cert.

Most of you seem to be missing the fact that GT4 will have more than the 594 cars that GT2 had, thats been confirmed by KY a long time ago, 600 is not unrealistic because thats the minimum PD has promised.

Think you've got that confused with GT1 which was advertised to have 290 cars

Can't remember what the rumoured car numbers were before GT2.

No T-5 it was GT2, next to no one knew GT1 even existed in 97. I have the PSM that previewed GT1 stating over 100. not 300. Gt2 was originaly claimed at 300.

The 290 you are thinking is from the europeaon version that says 290.

i say they will have about 900+. or about 500 different cars. what they did in gt2 was just wrong. 94 mustang, 94 mustang gt, 94 mustang type r, that was dumb.

There are exactly 627 cars listed in this topic. The 359 says the list isn't final yet, so expect many more cars.
