One thing I learned the hard way several times: Even if you have not listened to a CD in two years, do not trade or sell it. You will regret it one day.

I've got about 350-400 CD's but all of them are from the Pre-MP3 era of the internet (actually Pre-Broadband for me.)
Ironically, now that I have access to any CD I want within 5-10 minutes, all I listen to is the radio.

One album costs around 23 euros here.
And still they don't know why so many people rather burn a CD then buy one in the store

I have little over 30 singles and 9 albums...

Not very impressive.

that is to true you may dig a CD out one day that you havent listened to for an age and enjoy it all over again

...also (especially around where i live) you get nowhere near the amount of money you should when you do sell them

and for the record ive never sold anyone of my CD's (dont intend to either) and all of them bar 4 (which i dont count anyway) are of the burnt kind

Around 300 store-bought, and 25, uh, "remotely stored archival copies". (Just got a cd-burner...should be doubling that amount soon..)

If I haven't listened to it in 5 years, it gets traded; not sure if there's still a market for that anymore.

I only own about 70, but I'm cheap most of mine are MP3s burned on to CD-Rs.

But your definetly right about regretting it one day. My friend use to have the Offspring CD Americana, and he sold it and now he wishes he had it back.

I have that CD. I have all of their CD's except for Ignite...must find it...

Ignition is the Offspring's best album. It's all about Dirty Magic. I think I'm just over 500 legal, store-bought CD's.
