The recent drought in 360 games has finally given me a chance to start playing some of my backlogged games from 07 and 08. I got through most of Fallout 3 and Fable 2 so I wont list those. I also wont list all the 360 arcade games.
What is your current list of backlogged games for any console? Or if its easier just give a total instead of listing all of them thats fine too.

I will try to update this when I finish games.

I have a lot of PS2 games that I've bought but not played yet. The main ones I want to finish are Devil May Cry 3 and Resident Evil 4.

With Killzone 2, Sonic's Ultimate MegaDrive\Genesis Collection and Resident Evil 5 on my plate soon, I'll be lucky to get any of these done for months. :D
 
I'm so ridiculously far behind on PS2, and lots of games on GameFly have piqued my interest, I doubt I'll ever play most of them though...

I rarely actually buy games, but I have SOCOM which I hear is vastly improved after the initial release. People have likened it to releasing the game 8 months early...

Play Mass Effect first, one of the best games out there, the sum is greater than it's parts.

I am on my 2nd playthrough in Mass Effect around level 45 and last night I just ended up getting very frustrated at the game. The map just never tells you where to go have the time. Also I had the game on the hardes difficulty and was at the part where the aracknids attack you and you have 2 minutes to get out. I died 8 times in a row instantly on that part. So then set the difficulty lower and still died instantly. Finally put it on the easiest difficulty and barely made it out. Now I am totally lost and just have no idea where this person is at I am supposed to find. 3 hours last night and it seemed like I did not make any progress at all. It also didnt help that when I first died I didnt save for about an hour so I lost that hour. Was not a good night for Mass Effect.
 
What is the person's name? I found the game was pretty straightforward as far as main quests go, the only thing is remembering your way around the Citadel.
 
I cant remember the name but I think it is a female. I just got finished with the "neutron purge" which is something I never did on my first play through. I just wish the map was better. It sais this person is in a certain area and that area is not on my map.
 
Im backlogged on pretty much every game I own on PS2! I think theres only about 5 games ive finished!

Some I havent finished include..

NFS games
Some GT games
GTASA (the last mission to go) also LCS, VCS.
and many others!

As for the PS3 ive finished everything bar MCLA which I reciently got and GT5P which im taking my time over.

While technically I'm not backlogged in that I don't own the games yet but I still have a lot of games I want to play.

A couple PSP games that I want to add to my collection. I still need to beat SOCOM: FTB2 and finish the career mode in Colin Mcrae 2K5 though.

I am still trying to get as much as possible out of Mass Effect. I managed to hit level 50 over the weekend but have a long way to go before I am finished with this game. I will probably have to play through at least 1 or 2 more times with different characters. The problem I was having earlier was because of having Ashley with me. I replaced her with Tali and wow what a huge difference. Tali just destroys the enemies like nothing.

I too will steal a page from D-N. I like it. I won't be listing games that I rented/borrowed for a short time or intend to as I don't count curiosity as a backlog issue.

I dont even want to make a list of all the 360 arcade games I need to finish. That has to be close to 100.
I am proud to say that I have not bought any new games since christmas. The rehab for compulsive game buying must have helped.
 
I have finally been able to truly enjoy Mass Effect. Over the past few days I have visited almost every single planet. I am also level 53 on my 2nd playthrough and even managed to get the 150 kills achievement last night with the assult rifle. Which is amazing since my Vanguard is (untrained) and very inaccurate with that weapon.
2009 might be the year I finally get caught up on all my games from 07 and 08. 👍

I saw Gran Turismo 5 on your list. :lol: You must be talking about GT5P. You cant seriously think GT5 is coming out this year. Same with a few other games on your list that probably wont make it in 09. Hope that doesnt come off as rude. Its all in fun but I would not expect GT5 until 2010.

I have been a fan of the series long enough to know for sure and I am sure you do too. GT5 wont be out in 09. :sly:

There have been a couple of things that have rumors buzzing about how 2009 might not be so far fetched, and could be why PD has been so quiet lately.

In fact, two of the bigger things have involved members of GTP. They actually don't mean anything, but they are enough to fuel speculation that PD may be looking to surprise us. In fact, I think "much sooner than expected" was the exact phrase Kazunori Yamauchi used in an interview with a GTP member.
 
After 2 play throughs and 47 hours I FINALLY got the Paramour achievement. Now I need the level 60 and the weapon/special abilites achievements then I will be pretty much done with this game and can move on to another one. That will probably require at least 2 more characters.
The next game on my backlogged list that I plan to play through is Far Cry. I hardly put any time into the single player campaign. Spent most of my time making maps for the multiplayer.
 
Finally after 58 hours and 3 play throughs I got my guy to level 60 in Mass Effect. Getting from level 59 to 60 took over 9 hours! Very proud of the Extreme Power Gamer achievement. I also got the sniper achievement with my untrained Vanguard lol. I made a new character with plans to go for the weapons achievements but instantly lost interrest. I might try some other time but I think I am pretty much done with Mass Effect for a while. So I can take that one off the list.

I started playing PGR4 and Far Cry 2 in hopes of completing them. Far Cry 2 campaign just frustrates me with the respawing cheap enemies but PGR4 has been fun.
