I'm not sure clear constitutes a colour. And I did say this colour theoretically isn't visible. You actually seem to be able to see it.

Is is Superblack? Apparenly 99.9xx% of light is absorbed...

👍 In theory if all light is absorbed and none is reflected then an object would be impossible to see as no light from it is entering your eyes.

Sorry for bumping this thread guys but we need more members in this club, if it is classified as so by the OP 👍

Quiz question. (No internet cheating!)

Who is the largest number ever (partly) discovered named after?

What home brewed remedy would a doctor advise for athletes foot?

What is the flight speed of an unladen swallow?

Which colour is impossible to see theoretically?

How does one kill a zombie?

3.....2....1...... nerds go!

The Zombie thing,i would just shoot him between the eyes(I'm good with a gun) or i would grab his head and smash it into the concrete or whatever i have to smash his head into.Yes i know,i'm a angry nerd.

well atleast you got the proper avatar to execute zombies.

Thanks.

I've always been a fan of Bruce Campbell.Evil Dead still ranks up there as my favorite. This pic is from Army of Darkness.Plus i work for a grocery store(we have housewares too), so the pic fits me.

I can't be a N.I.D, because being a nerd is something I aspire to. I'm really quite open about the fact that I want to be a nerd, I just never had the chance growing up where I did. :(

:ferriswheel:

I would say that if I wasn't so blatantly, obviously (Tautology, I know. :sly: = nerd) trying to be a nerd I could join this very uncool club. I am so jelly but I can't even work a washing machine so I guess I'm out.

:filament:

I'm a car nerd in disguise. Which Is to say I'm heavily into cars and have an encyclopedic knowledge, but I don't go around wearing an anorak.

Well, if, an (extreme obsessive) love for pre-GT5 and, having an advanced knowledge of (almost) everything and a fluent English and many other things count as being a nerd, then COUNT ME IN! :)

I would be a nerd, but I'm too stupid.

Maybe, but sometimes people who claim they are stupid are smarter than most, because they see that there is stuff they don't know. A lot of people just think they know everything.

I think I will always see myself as stupid - it's a good way to encourage yourself to get smarter.

I am a massive nerd, but not in disguise. Proof? My username.

No way homes, Adams is a hugely popular writer and a legend!

(Nerd for knowing the reference?)

I really want to be a nerd, as I've said many times in this thread, but I'm just too cool. :sly:

Did you notice that 2x3x7=42? That's why I'm a nerd. :sly:

What I've posted (re Episode III):

me
Early on the in the movie there is a battle going on above some planet or other. Ships are blowing each other up and spacecraft are flying all around with missile technology that even the empire in episodes 4-6 would have loved to get its hands on. Ships are idiotically pulling along side each other to blast big holes in their enemies like the wooden sailing ships from the days of pirates. Never mind that these ships would shoot at each other from long distances in space. And we’ll even over look the little robot that, after it gets crushed by Anakin’s spacecraft, gets swept off of the wing of Obi’s spacecraft by… well… wind?? Who knows. Maybe Obi hit the gas. Anyway all of that aside. Obi and Anakin show up on a ship that has its “stabilizers” knocked out by some enemy blast. The ship starts to tilt out of control – nose downward – and everyone falls toward the front of the ship.

Wait right there.

Why are they falling toward the front of the ship? The ship had artificial gravity before the “stabilizers” were knocked out. So why would they get pulled anywhere besides the normal into-the-floor direction. But let’s suppose the artificial gravity was knocked out… then everyone should float. The only possible reason for everyone to fall to the nose of the ship is if the artificial gravity as out and the reverse engines were firing.
