I know ima come across like an ass, but it is Nitrous Oxide, or Nitrous, Nos = fast and the furious, and a crappy nitrous company, I find edelbrock to be much better.

Honestly, no it really isn't worth it, and here is why. In most karting, your taking an industrial block, in the case of my series, WKA( World Karting Association ) we are using Briggs 5hp blocks. Now, stockers after going through the rules make around 11-12 horsepower, Limited Modifieds make 22-24, Open motors make around 30-35.

Now when you are making that much power out of a 1 cylinder block, designed for 1500 rpms, when stocks turn 7grand, and limiteds around 11grand, (opens use stroker technology so they turn less but make more power) it is really dumb to have more explosive power in a motor already making up to seven times more power then it should.

However, some people do run nitro (not to be confused with nitrous) in their oil, or fuel, for added compression to make more power, however, this is illegal under WKA, and IFK rules.

So it's possible I guess. But it's illegal by WKA. :grumpy: Hell. I'm very talented at GT3 so maybe GT3 will give me tips at karting. :p

My Boss' son races in CIK and Junior Inter. one of the engines he uses makes around the 25-28HP mark
have also heard of a rotor engine that makes almost 60Hp, in a kart mind

had a first for me tonight, for the first time in 3 years of compitition i was deliberately rolled over (our karts have seat belts and roll bars)
I was racing for the lead and after just having lapped the oppisition I was hit, sliding about 10 meters into the tyre barrier, on the roll bar
I am on the racing line while this guy was on the inside, Ive taken the corner while he drove straight ahead
Got the kart started again and drove around for 3 laps (slow laps take us around 28-30 seconds) giving this guy a tyrade, expletives where just about every 2nd word for those 3 laps, he then pulls out because of a sore ankle but still claims some points as he pulled out due to an injury, meanwhile all I'm nursing is a scraped elbow, couldve been a lot worse
Both teams finished a draw for the race, a point i intend taking up with my boss tomorrow

bollocks.. kick his ass man!!
So im guessing thats the cheating you are talking about? And its a good thing u guys have a rollcage, we dont have at most of the karting places over here.

yeah tell me about it tried to get out of the kart but the belt mustve jammed up or something, anyways i finished the race and he didnt

Next time Bollocks, just get in front of him and slam on the brakes...:trouble:...

that wont work, only makes me slower anyways i get more satisfaction by beating someone cleanly than cheating to win
