How many people have had gifts vanish?

I just busted my butt for 6 hours playing at my brothers house. I managed to get to level 16 and have 385K. All I wanted was to make enought to buy a C6 and race mod it. I buy the C6, do the RM, blow the rest of the money on tune-up parts. I give the car to my regular account, everything seems OK. I get home and no car, just gone. No longer in either account. I feel like I've been bent over. Anyone else?
Anyboby got a billion dollars and wants to send me a RM C6 vette? Doesn't hurt to ask.
 
When sending/gifting a car it is apparently safer to go into the community menu, select the user you want to send it to then select the "gift" icon and send the car that way. I haven't lost any cars but it is apparently safer then when sending it from your garage.
 
This happened to me also when I sent a car to a friend from my garage. I'll try the community method in future.
 
I sent one to my other account yesterday. It said it was ok but it never arrived. Sadly it was my Minolta :(

I am hoping that I just selected the wrong friend and someone actually received it who will be kind enough to send it back.
 
I always use community, thankfully I didn't even know you could send it from your garage. Community has worked 100% through all my trades.
 
i've had no issues until this week. i used community method but only 2 cars were gifted from 5. i repeated this another day, still only 2 out of 4. it seems only the first 2 gifts get through, the rest vanish. luckily i sent cheap cars but it is annoying. i've never had this issues before. thing is, sending museum cards and colours do not vanish?
 
I sent it from the "community" menu also. Maybe there is a 2 car at a time limit. The 2 crappy cars I sent came through, as did the horn and paint chips. 2 cars were sent one day, 2 another, but I recieved all of it the second day. Minus the second 2 cars that is.
 
Well if you were sending expensive cars while they were fixing the Birthday glich, not saying you did it, but you may have lost it due to just that reason.

Everything should be fine now assuming.
 
I sent the two cheap car yesterday from the "holding area", I had won the cars but never put them in my garage. Those cars came through fine. I sent the RM Corvette at about 11:56pm last night. Then at about 12:15am this morning I sent one of those old 1944 VW trucks. The Corvette and the VW vanished.
Has anyone recieved more than 2 cars at a time? Maybe the software is limited to two spots for cars at a time.
 
gift cars i sent before this week had no issues, i even had 20 gift cars at once.....no issues. now its 2 a day or nothing at all. paints, museum pics, i can send as much as i like. maybe the update has limited 2 cars per day going into an account to stop or limit the birthday glitch.
 
I am doing a 12 days of Christmas on a forum I am on, giving a car a day to 1 person on the forum and found the work around for sending multiple cars in a day. So I sent several, all from Community, and the last 2 never made it. I am MAD as hell. It was only like 100,000 Cr worth of cars, but still. I told the dude I lent my BMW 12V LMP to hold on to it until this crap is fixed. Grrrrr.
 
Due to the Fiasco last Saturday PD has told all users to clear the system cache and it should solve most networking problems, all you have to do is read the news on the main menu for further reading.

KILLA, maybe YOU should read it yourself. The CLEAR CACHE thing has nothing to do with trades. BTW I had already done that anyway.
 
anyone willing to try sending 3 PDI racing karts to one of their alts to see if this "2 a day" stuff is fixed?
