How many Scale Cars do you have?

I've got a couple for now.

35 1/18 (Bburago, Maisto, Hot Wheels, 3 Autoart, and 1 Minichamps)

12 1/24 (Bburago, Maisto)

~20 1/43 (all Bburago, 1 Hot Wheels)

100-150 1/64 (Matchbox, Majorette, Hot Wheels, Maisto)

I use to have a cool city carpet in my room when I was little.

Similar to this ^^, but much bigger (I had 2 bit bigger ones put together).

I use to play with the 1/64 toy cars on that carpet when I was much younger, it was a lot of fun. I had a couple of police cars, and when I had friends over, we'd have some car chases through the city. :dopey:

100+ if anyone remembers that collection I posted of the giant-ass case along the wall, though it has disappeared from my computer.:odd: It was mostly my uncle's and some of mine.

At my sis' home where I live, I've got near 70 mostly Maisto as the McLarens have still not been moved into their new "homes." ;)

200-300 easily.
I have this thing, where I have to buy a new one every time I go shopping. Sometimes 2-3 if they have ones I want, but won't be there the next time I go out.
Mostly 1/24th and 1/18th, with the rest of the collection built up from a variety of other scales.

I gotta have between 50-100 (all scales totalled)

I can't get an acurate count because some models are in removal boxes that I haven't gone through since moving here 5 years ago. lol

I used to collect Bburago 1/43 scale cars, and are probably (hopefully!) still stashed away in my parent's loft - think I had about 30-35, mostly race cars, but a small collection of unmarked Ferraris, including the F40, a black Testarossa, and a red 512BBi . Also had a plain red Porsche 959, as well as a race trim Porsche 959 in 1/43 as well... I also had a few Bburago 1/18 scale F1 cars (Alboreto's Ferrari and Senna's 'Camel' Lotus), a red Ferrari Testarossa and a white Mercedes 'gull-wing' (as seen in GT4)... also had/have a Bburago 1/24 scale white Ferrari Testarossa (as seen in Miami Vice!). More recently, I bought three Minichamps (1/18 scale) F1 cars, Schumacher's Ferrari from 1998, Hakinnen's McLaren and Ralf Schumacher's Williams... on inspecting my Ferrari, however, a mate of mine dropped it and the rear wing broke off, and damaged the front wing - I had only bought it the day before :indiff:... cheers Andy! :irked:

In which case if I were you, I would ask for it to be replaced, or for the money so I could get a new one.

No love for Hot Wheels? Shame on ya.. :dunce:
I don't have 'budget' models in my collection besides the Maistos. And I wouldn't have bought the Maistos if it weren't for the fact that they are the only who made the Audi R8s. If you're wondering, all 8 Maistos are R8s (6 originals and 2 mods). :)

But that might change because Hotwheels has just announced a new line of 1/18s for the mid-range market called Elite. :dopey:

7. Don't know if I'll ever reach 50, even less so 100. I'd rather have 20-30 very unique. Saves space, makes every model more "meaningful" and also (hopefully) saves money.

Won't bother listing them, they're all on my site.

OMG Really?

The collection has been growing since I was around 13, so 12-13 years, when I got my 1/18th 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner that I still have displayed above my bed. I'll take a picture of my living room, computer office, bedroom and dining room (thats right, I said dining room, i'm that classy! ) sometime and post the pics. My girlfriend has kind of grown to live with me taking her stuff from wherever she has it on the shelves and in the cabinets, to make room for whatever I get in the mail, or at the store. Honestly, i'd probably throw her out before any of them if it came down too it. :sly:

Twistedspoon is right, its not cheap. Me and my GF added up most of it, using the price of what was paid when I got it, instead of what its worth now, and it scared me as to the fact that I almost have a down payment for a house sitting on my shelves in the form of diecast.

The only scary part of the day is when people bring over their kids, and they think your house is one big toy box, constantly grabbing for cars to play with. So far the only casuality has been the spoiler off my Hotwheels 1/18th Tuners Civic Si, so not a huge deal. I just learned from there on out that they have to sit a minimum of 5 feet from the ground, clear of anything that can be climbed onto.

I have about 35 and a half 1/18ths, 2 1/16th Minis, 1 1/43 Audi TT DTM car and a load of old, small cars from my childhood.

I've got 2.

I've got #8 out on display, but I'll have to find the other one.
I also have the Cadillac LMP Prototype by HotWheels.

What are these Hot Wheels Elite I'm hearing about. Any link to official news about this? I've never found an official site for the 1/18 cars Hot Wheels makes, especially the Hot Wheels Racing ones.

I have got around 200 - 300 of the small matchbox, corgi etc type cars and 4 1/18 model cars and two 1/24 cars.

I only have 30 1/18... I thought that was a lot, I dont have room for more.
I'm blown away at some numbers here.
Of course I'm talking about 1/18 scale.

Hot Wheels did have a section of their site for the 1:18s, mostly Ferraris, but after their major change, it's a kid site now, and you have to go Collector sites to find 'em.
