How many unpurchaseable cars? (and which ones)

I think there are about 5 cars that never appear in the UCD or NCD. I just want to have a thread to list them all in one simple place.

I can think of 4 off the top of my head (one of which I only learned about after playing for about a year).

What are the cars?

These are the ones I'm pretty sure of.

Premium:
- Nissan GT-R SpecV (GT Academy Version) '09
- Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) '08

Standard:
- Jaguar XFR '10
- HPA Motorsports Stage II R32

And of course, all of the DLC cars.

Sorry, but you are mistaken about the Jag, it NEVER appears in the UCD. Trust me, I know this for a fact. I have over 16,000 game days and check the UCD every 5 game days when it totally refreshes and have been doing this since day one. Its never ever been there.

Are you basing this on the fact that you've never seen it or is it actually designed that was from PD? Not that I think you're wrong, it's just kind of odd.

Actually I think when you complete or open the Vettel challenge the X2010 Prototype is available in the NCD, where it is listed under "Gran Turismo".

Defintely I did not have DLC in mind, because you can purchase them, if you bought the DLC. Forgot the HPA, and Vettel. So I make it 6, plus Chrome Line and Stealth.

You can buy the coloured variations of the X2010 that you get when you silver all the X1 challenges but the prototype and the one with the sebastian vettel and red bull liveries are not purchasable.

Very true but the Vettel one is easy to come by but the X2010 prototype not quite so.

According to mygrandturismo.net the Jaq XFR'10 is not rare, on a scale od 1 to 10 and 10 being rare its rated at 2.

That's very kind of you Mark, but in all honesty, I'm not too fussed about it. I'm sure it'll pop up again in my UCD sometime. Thanks for the offer though. 👍

In fact no-one who's been tracking the UCD has ever seen this (or the Buick Special '62, or the HPA Motorsports Stage II R32) in the UCD with nigh-on a million confirmed data points... It is, however, a prize car from doing the Top Gear Challenge.

X2010 seams the only non-special non-DLC car which doesn't appear from Ticket 1000 (even painted one, available in NCD).

The only X2010/2011 you can purchase are X2010 painred you have a choice of colours and the X2011 protoype but only if you purchased the original DLC.
The X2010 Vettel is win only and easy, the X2010 prototype is win only and bloody hard making it a rare car.

All that proves is that you had the car, big deal. I NEVER said the care was rare as I have 5 of them myself. What I said was that it Never shows up in the UCD. The only way to get this car is golding the last Top Gear Test Track event (the special event with the army vehicles) or possibly a 2010 birthday ticket. (not sure about that tho) So again, not saying its rare, but I am saying that it NEVER shows up in the UCD. Understand now?

Level 9 ticket too. I got my first XFR via level 9 ticket. And when I got it I was disappointed, thought it was boring, but now I love it. Fun car to drive.

No, I dont open tickets (and only have Birthday 81, 65 and 97)... The only level tickets I have duped and opened are level 23 and level 24... The rest have all been muscle car tickets that I have duped on another account...

Maybe I did get it in a trade but I dont think so... I dont usually do trades for cars unless they are ones I am specifically looking for... I am perplexed over this now... lol

I think a thread about the XFR came up on here in the past 2 weeks and it has been bugging me since then how I got it... It makes no sense to me.... I even remember checking a few days ago if I had Golded the Advanced TGTT... Nope, definitely Silver...

ANY other way to get it? License or something (I dont think so, I think I remember going to MYGT and looking up the prize cars...)

It had to have been a trade... I just dont know why I would have traded for it...

Mine is 0/0 so I highly doubt it was a UCD car... If it had miles I would say "YES Its a UCD car" but of course its 0/0 not 0/miles/0...

If you have one that is 0/miles/0 post a photo of it. That would prove its UCD... if its 0/0/0, who knows how you got it

It is a rare car that you can't find in the dealers but according to mygranturismo.net it has a rarity value of 2 which means it's fairly common.

I guess it's set that way since it is easily accessible as a prize car.
