Post your price in US$/gal.

1 Gallon = 3.785412 liters.

My price works out to $2.41/gal. That is the set price for all inland gas stations. It is about 1-2% cheaper at the coast due to transport costs.

Using your formula mine works out to $2.31 per gallon. All I know is it costs around $70.00 Canadian to fill my truck up and it's starting to get crazy.

Using your formula and converting to $US

Ron 91 fuel Unleaded for me = $2.90/gal
Ron 98 fuel Premium (what i use) = $3.12/gal

:ouch:

Unleaded, 93 Octane (what I use) is only like 5c cheaper then the equivalent leaded version.

I never fill up my tank to the top, but if i did it would work out to about $38. But thats because my fuel tank is probably a whole lot smaller then the average US tank.

I've been paying between 2.60 and 3.00 for a gallon of 89 (PLUS or whatever they call it), bepending of where I am when I fill up. I'd like to use the premium fuel, but it's over 3 bucks a lot of the places I fill up, and I'm pretty broke.

In sweden the price is around:

5.2$ / Gallon

In Norway it's even higher. I think it was about 15 years ago we had the prices you got in america today.

:eek: Is that converted to US dollars and 1 Gallon = 3.785412 liters?

Yes, it is, gtsr.

The price is an estimate, in some places it's more expensive and in some a bit cheaper. There is always a debate going over the taxes on gas here. Understandably.

Not well. It's too expensive. And not that low in fuel consumption after all.

The most common cars here are mid classers like Audi a4, corollas, and volvo estates. Except for the cost of gas I think there is no bigger difference in how expensive it is to own a car.

What the heck? Prius too expensive? What's it cost over there?

It's about $25,000 fully loaded over here, slightly less than the starting price of an A4.

Different prices at different markets you know.. Examples from the swedish market:

Prius, navigator not included otw full load:
34,000

A4 2.0 base price:
30,000

S60 2.5 base price:
29,500

Chevy Tahoe 5.3 fully loaded:
58,000

Wow, I did the conversion and got exactly the same answer. But like Mike said the further you get to the coast it's a little cheaper because of the transportation costs. It costs me about £15 a week in fuel for a 32ish mile round trip for five days.

LASt time I filled up (This past Saturday) it was $1.959 a gallon. I'm scared to drive by the pump station today,as I know it'll be higher.

In Belgium you can get a gallon of diesel (about 65% of the cars are diesel over here) for $ 3,05.

Around 0.81 euros / liter.

£3.14 per US gallon, £3.86 per Imperial gallon. Currently the pound is 1.7831 dollars, so that's $5.60 per US gallon ($6.88 per Imperial gallon). Oh, and that's for the regular 95RON Unleaded - 98RON Super Unleaded is $5.74 per US gallon.

Paying for petrol in the UK sucks ass. HARD.

Yep - £105 (US$187) for sub 1.5 litre cars, £160 (US$285) for everything else for a year's road tax. And then of course there's insurance too.

UK Government love their big-ass 15mpg Jaguars, but they hate everyone else having a car at all.

I'm paying around 2.15 per gallon for regular and when I have the money I put mid grade in which is 2.25.

I pay about $2.50 for 91 octane here in CA (we don't even have 93 readily available!)

People need to stop *itching about gas prices and think about this:

You Think A Gallon Of Gas Is Expensive? Here are some comparisons to make you think and put things in perspective.

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ---> $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ---> $ 9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 --->$10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ---> $10 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ---> $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ---> $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 ---> $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ---> $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 ---> $84.48 per gallon

and this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water 9 oz for $1.49 and ---> $21.19 per gallon.

$21.19 FOR WATER, a natural resource! ....and the buyers don't even know the source.

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, Whiteout, or worse yet, PEPTO BISMOL or NYQUIL!

:D

That is a ridiculous comparison. I can do without any of those things. In fact, I already do. But I have to drive to work every day. If there was another way for me to get here, believe me, I'd do it. But there isn't

Seriously... Pepto Bismol?!

I'm currently paying about $2.15/USgal for 93 octane premium. 89 octane is a whopping 5-7 cents cheaper, so there's no point in losing my spark advance over less than a buck a tank. So it costs me about $22 each to fill the Neons once a week.
