I paid 1.63 yesterday for 94 octane which is premium here.

I just figured it out...I get 11.57 mpg.

19 gallon tank / 220 miles per tank = 11.57.

Isn't it terriable?

that does sound below average, but then most 'average' cars are FF and lame :D

during the iraq ware i remember hearing some news presenter say how many mpg's the tanks did, or rather gpms :D i think it was 11 gallons per mile or something crazy like that.....

i don't remember mars bars being 8p. i remember seeing a wispa for 24 and thinking it was a rip off though! :D

but i was 3 in 85...

I'd say.

Is your Blazer the V6? I don't remember...

My Dad's truck(V8), pulling an enclosed 2 motorcycle trailer with 1 motorcycle in it, managed 11mpg on the highway. If it was you driving I'm guessing it would've averaged... 2-3 miles per gallon.:p

ya its a V6. But ya I like to really floor it up to the speed limit.

We did a "round Britain" trip, accidentally. 930 miles in one week, two tanks of petrol. My tank is 9.25 Imperial gallons, and I had enough left to go to the shops during the week when I got back. That's an AVERAGE of 50.3mpg on town, motorway (sigh... freeway) and fast main roads... :D And I'm not exactly right-foot shy...

.60 - .65 usd per litre... but both octane numbers are like water, so it is very cheap fuel. pemex -___-

Cano

and, OMG, 11 mpg in a V6???? MY GOD!!!!!!!
you have a foot that weighs a TON!!!! and your engine should have something bad on it, I dont know. but its just too low milleage.

can you send some over here by UPS? :P

Umm, over here in Sydney it is about 70.0cents per litre...:D

In Spain is about 0.8 €. 1L 95 octane
0.9 € 1L 98 octane
0.7x € 1L for Diesel.
Did you know that 80% of this are taxes????
(1.15? $ -> 1€)

Europe is plainly getting shafted on gasoline prices. You're about right on that tax figure - in the US about sixty percent is tax. We could all be driving around with fuel that costs $0.70, if not for the huge (ineffectual) government taxes.

It works out to around $2.08 per US gallon here in New Zealand. That is for 98 octane which is our highest available at the pumps.

Yup, most of Europe gets well and truly butt-farked over for petrol. The UK is the most expensive by far, with Spain and Denmark not far behind. But as Nightmage points out, what is particularly galling in the UK is that we actual HAVE our own oil supplies - under the North Sea - which we've been extracting for years. Do we see any benefit? Hell no.

Philippines:

19.54 per L for unleaded (93 octane)
20.54 per L for 96 octane
14.?? per L for diesel

1 US$ = 53. sumthin pesos

too damn expensive IMHO...

gas went up today...again. I paid a 1.90 for midgrade. Its freakin insane

I filled up today at $1.49.9/gal for regular unleaded.
add 10 cent for mid-grade. 20 cents for premium.

I thought you paid $1.63 for 94 like 4 days ago?!

The $1.53/93 I got was at some redneck gast station I've never been to before, but I drive by it all the time. It may, or may not, be less than most places.

its been going up every day this week!!!! I was like what the hell?

Yeah, I think it went up $0.01 per gallon of 93 today here.:p

If gas was closing in on $2.00/gallon I'd find someone to ride with.

Trust me there is no way I'm taken the Blazer to many places. I'll borrow the PT Crusier. That gets a good 20 mpg so I'm down with that. But to weigh it out....its a PT Crusier :D

i've heard that they pour water into the fuel at those redneck stations. well the rogue ones in europe do that. its like ultra poor quality sometimes and ur engine starts cutting out.

as for ur later comment, our gas is $5 per gallon of 95... but thats probably why we don't all drive blazers! (though i wish i did :( )
