How much is a chip for Japanese games

How much would a chip be to play Japanese games (GT4) on my american play station 2

Damn dude. There are at least 10 other threads about this on this board alone. They don't quote prices but they offer links to sites that sell them along with info on what chip you want and other options. Trying looking next time.

Sorry to go off on you but this has been covered MANY times, most of the threads are still on the main page and don't even require searching. Though a simpel search would have pulled this info up too.

its like DS4 or something on ebay. I havent one it yet, but i bought the game

Yes you can still use normal games on it. I just meant don't go playing any pirated games.

dms 4 ? good chip. you are going to need a professional to install it for you. unless you have some mondo good surface mount soldering skillz. you can find installers on the internet. i do installs but i'm in NY later-

good call. i just met a kid who tried to do it himself because he got a little too impatient and now his ps2 is dead... poor ps2 gettin it repaired is gonna cost him. enjoy the chip and GT4 ! later-
