How much of a nerd can you be?

Umm, suddenly the room just got a little darker...the images you are all creating in your deranged little minds about me running down the street wearing nothing but a Neo replica costume looking for tricks have corrupted not only my mind, but the minds of any who are unfortunate enough to have ventured in here in the last 24 hours...

Cosmics name is Zsolt?

Duuuuude!

*checks his profile*

Whoa it is as well, is your second name Baumgartner?

And you're a nerd if you even thought of that question. Or if one can name more than 3 Minardi drivers.

(Damn! That means I'm one too!)

I don't know anyone who hasn't asked him on MSN. Lol.

Anyway, this thread has been absolutely thrashed to pieces with nerdism.

I'm such a nerd I'm getting 97% in Information Technology in my class.
Try being the go to "computer guy" for over 100 people on your msn list PLUS being forced to be the computer guy for all of your family friends. Then add in the fact that I ran a study group last year to teach my friends Visual Basic because they were too lazy to learn it in class and by reading the book.

I'd do it again this year for the databasing class but one of my friends is being VERY annoying when he asks me questions... plus he doesn't have Finance this year because he's just trying for the easiest way into law school...so I won't get any help from him in Finance :(

the msn thing, i only do when i'm in the mood to. I usually just start blocking people for a few days at a time when they get annoying.

Really, emad, you have too much goodwill. You are getting something in return for this...right? If not, then I don't think they are friends...they are leeches.

oh, i got a LOT more out of them than they got out of me :D.

For one, my study group was held 3 hours before class - that's usually when I started working on the assignments for the class. I avoided a lot of potential headaches in my own code by ironing them out in theirs first. In addition to that, they ended up tutoring me in Accounting and they helped me out with the essay assignments in a few courses.

👍 👍

Thats good. I hate people who just talk to me right before exams and due dates and whatever. What do they take me for? "You think that just becuse you have those things on your chest I'm gonna do this for you? Think agian, b****."

If I saw someone wearing that...I'd think your a freak and probably be scared that your open fire shooting people. Just hope you dont live anywhere near me, so then you can do whatever you want.

Try? With the exception of the 100 MSN people I help (I help around 40 people alot), I do all of those things. Especially Visual Basic. I helped Shannon make his program, although he wasn't too bad with VB after I taught him the basics.

Try always fixing something on my crappy computer (and don't point out your laptop emad! ), and being the Computer go-to guy for family and family's friends.

So just think, there are always people in the same boat. :D

In the 14 months I've had my laptop, I've had just about every internal component replaced due to hardware failures and defects. As of this moment, only the monitor, cdrw, and plastic shell are original. Buuut, the monitor is overloaded with dead pixels and the cdrw drive is slowly failing on me. IBM refused to fix either issue for me. Worse still, the new motherboard died on me, and the warranty is expired. Back when my warranty was active, it was sooooooo much fun (and equally annoying) to call up IBM every other week and confuse the hell out of the technicians with the latest hardware issue that I got

Damn I love IBM and my university for forcing me to pay $1400 per year on the lease for this defective piece of crap. They won't even acknowledge when they give people defective equipment :irked:.

Oops... I pointed out my laptop

:P
