It is, and the coupe is a stunner, I was seriously considering a V6.

ultrabeat
Good looking car 👍

Meh, it's alright but nothing special. I prefer the handling, it's quite good fun for what it is. Well, either that or I've got used to its crap handling now and think it's good

Poverty
whatcar.com has managed to toss things up again. Theyre ruining my credability:indiff:

Common sense should tell you that a 3.2 Merc should not be producing more torque than a 2005 Viper.

Me- '99 Ford Taurus (3.0L OHV V6)- 145 HP/170 ft-lb.
Grandfather- '97 Ford Exploder (4.0L SOHC V6)- 205 HP/240 ft-lb.
Dad- '01 Daewoo Lanos (1.6L 4 cyl)- 105 HP/106 ft-lb.
'91 GMC Rally 3500 STX (5.7L V8)- 195 HP/290 ft-lb. (workvan from boss, dad's the only one that drives it)
Other Grandfather- '05 GMC Canyon (3.5L I5)- 220 HP/225 ft-lb
'04 Jeep Wrangler (2.4L 4 cyl)- 147 HP/165 ft-lb

Total = 822 HP/906 ft-lb torque :)

Updated total = 1017 HP/1196 ft-lb torque, for an average of 169.5 hp per family member

It's pretty pathetic now, especially from my brothers side.

Me: 2001 Lexus IS300: 215
Mom: 1999 Ford Explorer: 206
Brother: Honda Civic: 110 and Honda Civic Hybrid: 110 (I think.)

Total: 641

Back in the day:

Me: IS300: 215
Mom: Explorer: 206
Dad: Acura CL Type-S: 260
Brother: Acura CL Type-S: 260

Total: 941

Toyota Previa 2.4l- 135hp
Citroen ZX 1.4 D I think ~70hp

Grand total.... 205hp... That gets me a Jaguar S-Type 2.7 Diesel. Sound familiar?

Now, if we include uncles aunties cousins... we get.
Ford Fiestas x 2
Rover 25Si
Ford Mondeo STTDCi
BMW 325Ci
Subaru Impreza WRX (Long lost, I never see cousin who's like 35)
Vauxhall Zafira
Ford Focus ST170

Not even gonna bother doing the maths, as I have no idea the exact spec.

No idea of accurate power due to age and mileage of vehicles etc but it is close enough.

Me: 1990 Nissan Skyline GTS-4 (R32) [I6, 2.0l, 4WD, turbo] - 215 hp
Dad: 1994 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT Convertable [V8, 5.0l, rwd, na] - 215 hp also?
Mum: 1992 Mazda MS-6 Efini [V6, 1.8l, fwd, na] - 140 hp?
Brother 01: 1991 Nissan Skyline GTS-25 (R32) [I6, 2.5l, rwd, na] - 170 hp?
Brother 01: 1990 Ford Fairmont [I6, 3.9l, rwd, na] - 120 hp? Anyone know? It is kinda gutless to be honest.
Brother 02: 1986 Mazda RX-7 Turbo [rotary, 1.3l, rwd, turbo] - 200 hp?
Brother 02: 1986 Mazda 626 [I4?, 1.3l?, fwd, na] - 120 hp?

Total: 1,180 hp
Haven't included grandparents' 1991 Honda Civic nor other grandparent's 1979? Toyota Corolla.

VW Passat 2.0 - 115hp
Renault Clio 1.4 - 80hp
Total - 195hp

Lowest so far. And I'm pretty sure the Clio is no longer producing 80hp.

Anyway, the figure will increase when my dad gets his Skyline. :D

Mom-1998 Doddge Durango-275bhp when new.
Dad-1993 Buick LeSabre-170bhp when new.
Grandmother-1996 Chevrolet Lumina-215bhp when new.

GT=660bhp, Same as the Ferrari Enzo

Well, using Parker's info....

330Ci - 235Hp
M3 - 321Hp
3000GT VR4 - 282Hp

That's 838Hp. Don't exactly know what that can go up against besides maybe a Koenigsegg CC8S.

We should do one that has the least power per number of cars. A family friend of ours has an entire garage filled of all old (newest is 1976) rear engined cars. He has:

1976 VW Bus - 70hp
2 Corvair Greenbriers - ~190hp (combined)
1966 Corvair Monza - 110hp
195# Fiat Multipla - 28hp
Subaru 360 Van - 25hp
1958 BMW 600 - 20hp

So for seven cars, that's 443 hp. But his daily drivers are a '92 BMW 318 convertible and an '04 Mazda6 Wagon.

As far as my car, well, 1979 Super Beetle, 48hp. I don't feel like tallying up the rest of my families, because that's going to take a long time.

Well, there's my AE86 with the Gr.A motor, that's about 200PS, and my dad's STi Ver. VI, about 280...

Just kidding.

WRX (Mine) - 227HP
G35 (Dad's) - 298HP
Prius (Mom's) - ~150HP

675HP.

Hmm... This is combining the two halves (divorced parents) of my family.
1992 Eagle Talon TSi (Mine) - 190 hp
1998 Chevrolet Astro - 190 hp
1991 Miata - 120 hp
1995 Pontiac Bonneville - 205 hp
1982 Mercedes 300SD - ~100 hp
1995 Dodge Neon - ~130 hp
______________
935 hp

That's not including my stepbrothers/sisters.

Oh, and
1977 GlasPly 28' - 520 hp
__________
1455 hp.

My Family:

- 115 ('96 VW Jetta Wolfsburg, me)
- 125 ('95 Toyota Camry, Mom)
- 89 ('88 Mazda 323 SE, brother)
- 425 ('68 Chevrolet Camaro w/Vette 327, THOR, my Dad)
- 295 ('05 Chevrolet Avalanche, THOR, my Dad)
- 291 ('03 GMC Envoy, Stepmom)
- 295 ('02 Chevrolet Tahoe, Grandpa Y)
- 115 ('02 VW Cabrio, Grandma Y)
- 125 ('89 Honda Prelude, Grandpa Y)
- 133 ('96 Mazda Miata M-Spec, Aunt Tenly)
- 150 ('99 Malibu LS, Uncle Lance)
- 190 ('93 GMC Safari, Uncle Ty)
- 200 ('01 Grand Prix GT, Grandma F)
- 140 ('93 Pontiac Grand Prix, Aunt Nancy)
- 295 ('05 GMC Savana, Uncle Boby)
- 158 ('99 Plymouth Voyager, Aunt Karen)

...thats it, I think...

Grand Total: 2555 BHP

I thought that included immediate aunts, uncles and grandparents?

Me:
1992 Lexus SC300 - 220
1960 Chevrolet Biscayne - Um.. So.. when I get it back in a couple weeks, It might have.. 280?

Let us know how it goes, I'm extra interested how the cam is after that cam thread. :)

Ford Fairmont: 220hp
Ford Laser: 66hp
Mazda B2000: Erm, 15? Okay no, lets say 80hp
Honda Prelude: 160hp
Honda CRX: 160hp
Honda Civic: 160hp (but not for long, 350+whp here I come!)

846hp.

Mum has the first, dad has the 2nd and 3rd cars, sister has the prelude and the CRX and Civic are mine.

I tend to regard my "family" as me, the wife, and my daughter. However, opening it up somewhat brings more power, especially since my 87 year old grandmother has a Saab 9-5 Aero HOT @ 250bhp...
