How to add a turbo on a N/A car in Gran Turismo 2?

I know that you must use the codes for add a boost gauge and a blow off sound and the turbo, but how to add it in the correct way? In some only N/A engines works, but in others the UFO sound still remain... For example the Dodge Concept Car didn't have more the UFO sound, but a CRX LM yes... How to fix that?

The "fix" isn"t in how to properly put a turbo in a car, it's the fact that the sound file doesn't have Turbo sounds.

Each car sound in GT1 and GT2 have 9 files in them, 1 engine, 4 N/A sounds, 4 Turbo sounds. Cars that are equipped with a turbo will use the 4 turbo sounds, cars equipped with N/A Tunes use the NA part. Cars that have both use the one corresponding to their NA/Turbo installed. Cars that only come with Turbo will have the blank "UFO" sound for the NA side, while NA only cars will have the UFO Turbo part.
The Concept Car shares its sound file with the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, which has a Turbo upgrade, hence why the Concept Car didn't break. However, the CRX LM Shares its file with all the JGTC NSXes which are only N/A, therefore it does't have any Turbo sounds. In fact, that sound file, since it's only used by race cars, only has 2 files in it instead of 9, because those race cars use engine and the stock exhaust part. In this case, engine and n0.
If you're adding a turbo part and the corresponding turbo gauge and stuff, you're doing good. It's the sound files that don't match.

Thanks, thanks to you I have understand this finally. And if you put a turbo in other Honda cars that have mostly only N/A upgrade (I don't know of shares with Acura cars) or other only N/A that didn't shares the sound file with others dealers, the UFO sound still there? And if you put 0000 in both gauge and sound in a turbo car will be "N/A" right?

Here's the lis of GT2 sounds and what cars use them. Use that to know if the car you're gonna work on shares a sound with a Turbo/NA car. that way you'll know if you're gonna get the UFO or not.
The UFO is there for any sound that doesn't come with the other part. If the sound is for NA cars, all turbo upgrades will give the UFO. If the car is Turbo only, removing it will give the UFO (but adding NA with Turbo won't. You can combine Turbo and N/A on a Trubo car, but not on a N/A car.)
As for just removing the gauge I don't think that works. Been a while sine I testd it, but I found what works best is to put the Turbo part to 0000 to completely make the car N/A.

I don't get what you're asking...?

The list of sounds are the sound file's names, not code values. The reason why I posted my list here is so that Sal would have an easier time figuring out what car he could add a turbo to without getting the UFO sound. They're not values.
For the turbo gauge I don't recommend touching it other than to make it 0000 to remove it. Turbo parts have their own address and values, but I don't have a list of those.
