How to create a single eplayer race against ai?

Hello,
I am quite new to F1 25 and cannot get oriented in the menus. I want to create offline race against AI but cannot find where to do that. So far I was using the "Grand Prix" option but after starting my Grand Prix season I found that if I create another Grand Prix, my season will be deleted, so it is no more an option for me.
Can someone help?

That's the only option is in the Grand Prix mode inside F1 World. So you can't have a season running and do a one off GP alongside it. You could do MyDriver career if you just want to do a season playing as a driver, turn all the R&D etc to automatic and off you go.

So, there's no "Free Play" or "Custom Mode" option a la FM23 or GT7?

That's rather disappointing and could do with being added to the game @PJTierney

Grid/Grid Legends had a reasonably good "Custom Mode", as did EA WRC with its single rallies, so Codemasters have included it before.
