Just trying to get a better view from the cockpit as it seems to cut the right hand side off. I have a 50" TV so don't mine a blank top and bottom as long as I can use the full width of the TV. Is there a way to change the aspect ratio somehow. Also is anyone using 3 screens and what do you think of them. Thinking of using 3x 32", . Are they a good size. thx.

I would NEVER consider running 3 screens with GT6 because that means you must have three PS3 units and three copies of the game. 🤬 that!

I have a friend that has a 3 screen setup and it is absolutely amazing....immersion at its finest. If you can afford it and have the hardware, I would highly recommend it.

two second-hand PS3 wouldn't cost all that much these days. Even the superslims with just 12 GB flash memory would be sufficient for this. I'm sure the games can be found for cheap in second hand video game stores too. Even on the PS store it's just about 20 bucks.

Yep. Just been thinking about it. Have 2 Ps at the moment so am just looking for a cheap s/h one now. The GT6 games are only $35 (NZD) new now. Have a 2x 40" and a 32" so I will use that until I find another 40".
Should all the TV's should be the same size or should the middle one be bigger.
thx

That is the main down side of it. But in saying that it should cost me the following
1x s/h TV $$150-200 (have the other 2)
1x s/h PS3 $150-$200 (" ")
2x GT6 $70 (have 1)
cost of the cable ($??)
Total cost should be under $600 (NZD)

It's not the cost of the setup that bothers me. I just wouldn't spend another penny on old systems like the PS3. With my luck, GT7 would be announced the day after I set it all up.

I was thinking about using a computer and 3 screens but the cost just got too much. The good thing is that I can always connect the Tv's up to a computer if I want to go that way. another PS3 copies of games etc should cost me about $300-$400 V's about $1000+ for a computer.
I would by a PS4 but they don't have GT6.

But it will have GT7 eventually and in the meantime Project Cars. $600 is a lot of money to spend on 10 year old technology.

THAT was my original point. I'm all for going crazy and putting together 3 monitor setups, but do it with something that is modern. PCars will be on PS4 very soon and hopefully GT7 isn't a complete letdown whenever it is released on PS4.

Just so you know, there is no triple monitor support on PS4 for PCars. It's a game by game thing in the hands of each dev so GT7 may or may not have it. But I do agree. Current gen games of all kinds look so much better. I borrowed my son's PS4 and played Killzone for a week a year ago and I pretty much put away the PS3 and started researching a pc build vs. PS4 overnight.:)

It's given me something to think about. Dose anyone know what else I need apart from 3 PS3+games and 3 screens. I think I need a LAN??

Oooh boy! I just assumed PCars supported 3 screens on the console because I have seen 3 screen vids of PCars, admittedly they were all PC systems. That was quite naive of me to assume that. :O
