The one track that I can't seem to get good at is Nurburgring.

This is a huge track and it is very hard to memorize. For those of you who are good at this track, is the key to great times memorizing it, or, can you get good times with just good driving skills?

I have been practicing it, but I still get destroyed by the AI at this track. I just can't keep on the road if I push it and if I drive more carefull my times are worse.

Any tips on getting good times at this track would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think its just a question of looking faaaar away on the track to see the curves coming so you can prepare to brake or deccelerate. You don't really need to memorize the track. Just keep trying to improve your driving technics on the track cause I know that track is hard to play sometimes. Just need some basic technics and you'll like this track as heeeeeeeell :)

Good Luck, Nurburgring is the best track ever made :)

its better to learn the track than to memorize it if you understand.indeed this track is very hard i have even been riding the walls on mission 34 only 4 seconds of the 1st place car

I brought this thread back up, because I originally started it, and I just wanted to report back that I finally beat Mission 34. I know this track cold now and it has become my favorite track. Mission 34 was a nightmare that wouldn't end until I beat it. I just don't understand why Poly decided to put in that 123 second wait. They could have just started the cars at their respective positions for a 120 second head start and let you go after 3. If it wasn't for that wait I probably would have beat it a long time ago. It took me the whole summer. But now I can rest easy. I golded all the other Nurburgring stuff now like it was nothing.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I actually used the wait to relax and prepare for what was coming.
I usually would visualise the first few sections in my mind and found that would help the 2 minutes pass very quickly.
