How to get other cars after the limit

Yes, yes I do. The problem I have is that I haven't beaten the game yet, and I'm jealous. :sly: (Have to finish all the endurance's in A-Spec.)

:D

And BTW...going in and out of licensing is old skool...takes too much time....

Load an A Spec challenge...hit stop before race starts...it will return you to start menu, hit start and the race does not have to refresh....do this five races in a row to completely refresh your UCD (30 new cars)....

I finished the game...now I want to collect cars...got a problem with that????

Go ahead and collect. Just because you can't trade 94 cars, that isn't stopping you from collecting, is it?

With the impending trading limit on its way, I went ahead and birthday glitched all the expensive '67 cars I was missing the past 4 days (and didn't even feel bad doing it). That works out to about 67 million CR worth of grinding I won't have to do. And with all those cars out of the way, I don't mind grinding my way to get the rest of the cars I want. :)

I never planned on collecting every car, anyway, and only have about 14 or so million+ CR cars left I want to get.

You seem perfectly capable of forming a proper English sentence. What is stoping you from capitalizing the first letter and placing a period at the end? I've quoted it to you twice and you still haven't gotten the message, so tell me, who is being stubborn?

You're right, there are people from all around the world on this forum, and when you starting using "txt spk" and other shortcuts, it can make it more difficult to read what you are trying to say.

Anyways, from this point on I'm just going to ignore all of your posts because I have yet to see you post anything on-topic in this thread or any other.

Sorry, OP and mods. I know it's not my place to tell him what to do, and I know this is not the place to do it. Hopefully he'll figure it out soon enough.

LOL

You're attacking other forum members about them being on a high and mighty pedastol, and that's exactly what you're doing.

You haven't got high standards, you've got double standards.

If you want the credits, you have to work for them. That's how this game operates. If playing this game that way doesn't strike you as being fun, then why bother playing? If you already have 30, 50, 100, 200, or however many cars, why not just stick to those and drive them? There's more to this game than collecting. However, if collecting is your thing and you don't want to grind for credits, then there really isn't much you can do besides play something else. The developers have shown that they don't want duping and trading to be the way this game is played. :indiff:

Well, that shows just how much you know about this game doesn't it??

Haven't you noticed the crazy money and experience points available through the bonus races, or, if you're racing your friends (that's if you've got any) online in decent length races, the money and points you get there are also very, very good.

Maybe you'd be better off learning about the game and how to set cars up instead of concentrating on being the self appointed GTPlanet police.

:dunce:

Blablabla...I'm sick of comments like these "why bother playing blablabla...
WTF...it's a game with 1000+ cars, and I want to try them all. You have any idea how much time you have to grind for that? I dunno, maybe until they launch GT6 (6 years from now).

I want to race in every car available in the game, and not just spend ages to grind for one particular car, just to try it once afterwards.

Seriously...you want to grind for years....be my guest. But don't tell me how I should play my game. I will find ways to beat the system, and that makes perfect sense to me, as the original idea of this gameflow is pretty much a failure.

Remote racing will be my preferred way to grind cash now. I am no longer willing to run Indy 178 times a week to get cash. If a car comes up in my ucd and I don't have the cash then tough **** for me I guess. I have plenty of cool and fast cars so I will build my bankroll and maybe once a week I'll spend on a high dolla ride. Remote racing ftw.

(Ah, here we go again...)

I'm legitimately, and non-judgmentally curious - what is the appeal with this shortcut, anyway?

You're more than free to find it appealing, but I don't. (Please show me the common courtesy of not assuming that, on the basis that it doesn't appeal to me, that I think you're wrong for finding it appealing.)

Me, I'm a car collector, and I've chosen to grind the 🤬 out of B-Spec to earn the credits needed to buy all the cars. Currently have well over 800 cars, but I unfortunately still many of the expensive standard and premium cars to acquire. I've made the choice to grind (which is rather 🤬 boring, truthfully) instead of take any shortcuts.

That way works for me, but it might not work for you. You're more than free to make that call for you.

It's not a better way, not by a long shot, but it is the proper, designed way.

Peace...

Go ahead and collect. Just because you can't trade 94 cars, that isn't stopping you from collecting, is it?

Of course it is, they are the best cars in the game....and the number isn't 94, there are 22 different X10's, many different Veyrons, Rx-7's, Furai's, the list goes on and on... like Highlandor said, you need to educate yourself on this game....:dunce:

Hey guys,

I was just wondering. Since the patch is most probably to hit us the day after tomorrow, how can we still beat the system in order to collect our precious cars without the endless grinding for money?

I think: if I send an F40 (which is the most expensive car which can still be sold) to another person, he can sell it and add some money to his account without having to grind for it.
I know it's a bit of a long shot, but I can't think of a easier way to get money besides grinding.

You still have to wait for the UCD to offer the car you're after, but that can easily be updated this way: LINK

Anyone got a better idea on how to collect cars fast?

/facepalm

What's the rush? Why do you NEED to collect cars so fast?

Dude, you answered just your own question. It's absolutely boring to grind, and without grinding you need years to get the most expensive cars.

And please stop the argument with: why do you need the expensive cars, what's wrong about a miata or a golf?

Truth be told, nothing. But I can drive those in real life, and for me virtual games should always be different than real life, to be precise, it should be an improvement. I'm commuting every day about 3 hours, to work and back again. And I have to say, getting stuck in a traffic jam is more interesting than grinding. And because grinding is the hugest part of this game this is a very very sad statement, but it's true.

Oh but back to the question. I'm hoping that PD gets some sense back into their heads and they either give us more and better paid events or give us back the trading, duping, glitching, cheating, call it what you like.

The grinding is just wasted time, so cutting short time which is wasted is nothing but human. Otherwise you would have a keyboard with only 0 and 1 in front of you and you would have to remember all the binary code to type. Why do you guys use a standard keyboard instead of a binary one???? It's a shortcut, it was not meant to be like this when it was invented. You purists and elitists should all be ashamed of yourself (except you have a binary keyboard in front of you). Otherwise you just use double standards, whenevery they are convenient for you.

Oh, back to the question of the op. I hope PD will get some sense back into their heads soon and give us back the trading, shortcutting, glitching, cheating or whatever you call it.

The best cars in the game? That's strictly your opinion. The list is over 1,000 cars. A bunch of standard cars under a million come in different colors as well, not to mention most of the premium cars in the dealership. Do the math. That would equate to over 2,000 individual cars, which you can't have since the limit is 2,000... I think you need to educate YOURSELF on the game.

BTW, I'm done here. This is another argument thread.

Easiest thing to do is create a dummy account and do 1 set of bonus races using loaned cars function from your main account (will give you 2.5m) then you can buy any car upto 1m/tuner parts etc and send to your main account without spending money (dupe the cash account)

That way you build up cash in your main account for 1m+ cars plus win via A/Bspec , but then you don't have to waste money buying the others

You dummy account will be able to buy and send all but 6/7 premiums saving you 14m on the JGTC alone ;)

^^^

I did this awhile ago and I ended up grinding on the dummy account so now I just use the dummy to level up my main account via remote race.

I finished the game...now I want to collect cars...got a problem with that????

Nope. You can't play however you want. :) I never said there was anything wrong with collecting cars. I was just offering up a suggestion to those who's sole purpose to play GT5 is to collect cars, and who only happen to collect cars via trade. 👍

LOL

Well, that shows just how much you know about this game doesn't it??

Please explain how much I don't know...

Haven't you noticed the crazy money and experience points available through the bonus races, or, if you're racing your friends (that's if you've got any) online in decent length races, the money and points you get there are also very, very good.

Yeah, bonus races and online races are great! The only downside to the bonus races is that they are one-time-only. So yes, that quick 800k in credits is great, but you only get that once. As I understand it (apparently not very well according to you!) there are 90+ cars that cost more than that, not to mention upgrades/mods. So that can only take you so far.

I love online racing, and that is pretty much all I do on GT5 nowadays. It's a lot of fun and it's nice that you get credits/xp, but I wouldn't call it "crazy money." (Unless the prize money was upgraded in recent patches)

Maybe you'd be better off learning about the game and how to set cars up instead of concentrating on being the self appointed GTPlanet police.

:dunce:

 What are you talking about?

Why dont PD just block gifting the x2010 , problem solved then no more ebay etc . I would imagine it will be birthday tickets and level tickets that will produce the best results now ? Bet's on how long before you see sales on ebay for them instead ?

Plus you need a trustworthy friend now to gift to as it is only 1 gift per ps3. They really shafted themselves in the 4r$e those greedy dupers ( nothing wrong with duping imo but to try to gain real ££ from it , well that is sad imo.)
Indy here i come again my life is resembling the film "Groundhog day" as i could have swore i sat here last night doing Indy and the night before etc !!

LOL

And you can spell 'Villan'???????

:lol::lol::lol:

Maybe you should spend a bit more time and effort in correcting your quite awful double standards and understanding of setups (full downforce at Indy!?!?!?) rather than pedanticly nit picking at others and pretending to be the GTPlanet police.

P.S. Double posts are not allowed - maybe you should read the AUP so you understand the rules of this forum better??

1. Start a new profile on same PS3
2. Share useful cars from main account to get you going
3. Get up to about level 23 in a-spec in 2nd profile and about 5M credits (easy with special and online events)
4. Back up your 2nd account save file
5. Buy car you need in main profile (under 1M) and rebuild/mod it to max
6. Gift car to main account
7. Restore backup to regain credits

So you can still get a free car per day and you get to double up on credits from one time online and special events.

Are you serious? Here's a dictionary, you might want to figure out how to use it. ;)

(full downforce at Indy!?!?!?)

I remember you now. It's funny you mention that, because I never actually suggested full downforce in that post (seriously that was in November/December, dude!) I suggested that the OP in that thread might want to try a little more than he had. It's okay, though. I can tell you struggle with reading, so who am I to assume that you'd understand what points I'm trying to get across to others?

Sorry for enabling the troll. :indiff: No longer posting in this thread unless it's on-topic

Your memory is about as bad as your attitude, which is pretty appalling.

Yes, actually, I did use a dictionary (I know how immature and pedantic you are so I checked first).

Why don't you take a look at your posts and the amount of people you consistently upset and annoy??

Then take a good look at yourself, it's pretty clear you're much more of a troll than me. All you're intersted in is winding people up and getting on peoples nerves (oh yeah, and pretending to be a moderator/GTPlanet police).

You really think you are contributing to this website??

That goes to show just how dillusional (and pathetically immature) you really are.

End of.

Now that is a good answer to the original question.

What is the new max gifting limit going to be? I know some cars just under a million credits won't be able to be gifted .

You can also send/dupe 5 parts from the tune shop per day. Stock up on expensive items like race tires, fc transmission, fc suspension, turbo, etc... It'll save you a couple of hundred thousand cr per car if you fully tune your cars.

You don't need to be "ultra hardcore" to get cars. You also don't need to get all 1000+ to enjoy the game. Seriously, these complaints are very lame. 👎

If you are not ultra hardcore than what is the point of "needing" these so called now unobtainable cars... Just drive the ones you can get. That is what a non hardcore person would do IMO!

ViLLaiN: I hope my punctuation fits your very strict needs. So because I don't want to play gt5 everyday I don't deserve to get the fastest cars in the game? Your arguement doesn't seem very logical. Oh and I proofread my post just to make sure that the spelling also fitted your needs.

Laynas: Ok, so because you play gt5 hours upon hours you deserve to drive the X2010 but because I feel like playing other games I only deserve to drive a Prius. That makes total sense.

It's a game, you don't deserve anything. Entitled much?

If you don't have the time to get to the last level on God Of War III, should there be a "Skip to Zeus" portal for busy folk like you?

PS - Is it really necessary to lay on with that passive-aggressive poke? What does that solve? Oh and since you went there, I just thought I'd point out that you spelled "argument" wrong. I do appreciate the effort, though. :)
