Okay, here's the thing, i've been stuck for almost a week now at the GT All Stars Expert Series, it's killing me !, i tried the corvette zr1 rm, zonda fully tuned, audi TDI stealth model, and they all failed on me. Apparently i've been snooping around the forums and people are saying that a Mazda 787b handles the job pretty well, so my question is, how do you get that car ?

ps: Thank God for 1.05 update, with seasonal events, i got to progress, but still i want perfection.

I've been doing rings round Indy for a few days now and i've nearly enough money to buy it now. Part of me wants to just keep going for the F1 2007 or get the FGT instead.

Must not deflect........

Use the Audi R10 TDI Stealth Model, it worked perfectly fine for me even without tuning it. The racing line is quite helpful at times.

Try using soft racing tires on the Audi!

if i where you, i would have waited until ive got the FGT, The FGT is a beast, and u can use it in the endurance races and beat them with ease

I used the Minolta . Easy Wins all of them 👍

I've got the 787B aswell ,Traded to get that from the Marketplace if that helps

Are you asking where to buy it? New car dealership.

Or, you can use the Minolta which is won from Like the Wind. I'd think you should be able to beat it in the stealth R10 though.

I got the minolta after that, and i never thought about the furai for this race, but if you have the level and cars for the like the wind race get the minolta, it isn't preferable to the sauber in my mind, but it performs almost identically

It killed me too. I finally beat it yesterday

Follow this process and you will get it:

A-Spec
Like the wind:
First race: Use the bugatti veyron 1256HP
Second Race: Mazda Furai with a full tune

You get the Minolta, use this to beat like the wind, up the top speed and be careful accelerating out of corners, it is a BEAST (and yes you will get angry playing with the minolta)

Guys, i keep hearing about the FGT. What is that?

FGT means Formula Gran Turismo. It's a standard car and is very rare in the Used Car Dealership from what I've heard. It costs like 4.8 million & A-Spec/ B-Spec lvl. 23 or higher. The car is needed on the Formula GT event in the Extreme hall.

There should be at least one FGT parked in your " online " dealership right now if you've updated your software. About 4.9 mil but lower miles than the ones in the ucd lot. Different colors too.

I got a FGT in the new online dealerships straight away, i still dont get how its different then the used car dealer except u get less cars but better..

Thanks everyone for the tips, working on it, i don't think i'm gonna grind 4.8mil for the FGT, i'll just finish up like the wind and use the minolta to go back for the All Stars...dmn.

I swear guys, i'd almost threw a tantrum with GT5 because of this.

I know you had your question answered already, but I wanted to chime in and say I beat the GT Allstars last night using a racing modified Acura NSX 91. After all the tuning, it had less horsepower than most of the competition (20-25hp deficit), but I had a tremendous amount of downforce applied. So in the race at LaSarthe they would beat me down the straights, but I would hang on in their wake and re-take them in the corners at the end.

I placed first in all the events save the Grand Valley. So far, those races were the most fun (and work, it took me a full days of tunning and testing different set ups and understanding more about downforce) I've had with the game.

After reading some more threads on here, I also realized that I had the skid assist on, so I'm thinking I will try it again down the road with the assist off.

I guess to add value to this thread, the Racing Modified Acura NSX '91 was a total cost of $280K, with about an additional 30-60K of tunning, as most of the stuff was already on there. Don't get me wrong, the wins were challenging, I didn't blow them all away.
