Freedom inspires enginuity. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

You would think Ford or GM would give those guys a work Visa and use them to design an affordable land-water vehicle.

I'll forward that idea to my supervisor

An affordable land-water vehicle.. well Cadillac has made quite a few boats.

I approve of Canada for many reasons. Not the least of which is that they get all riled up on the radio. It's so cute.

Also, Toronto really isn't considered part of Canada by the rest of Canada. I like that. It's like how I consider Florida to be it's own separate and very stupid nation.

And Tim Hortons.

My uncle illegally crossed the Canadian border in a boat last year just by accident.

The guy that designed those floatable cars was granted a visa; he works at a local Chevrolet dealer, according to an article from Car and Driver.

My uncle went on a guided fishing trip many years ago in Minnesota. The guide was a complete tightwad, and was cheap and obsessive about everything.

My grandpa threw his cigarette butt into the lake, and suddenly the trolling motor shut off. He turned around to hear the guide say "You can't damage the environment like that, it's illegal. We're gonna have to turn around and pick it up..."

Since the 6 guys were in two boats, they left a good size gap in between, say about 50 feet. They happened to be trolling through the middle of the lake one morning, just drifting with their lines hanging in the water. The guide stops his boat boat suddenly and yells "HEY! You can't do that!"
The guys on the other boat said "What are we doing wrong now!?"
"You're fishing in Canadian water! Get back over here, that's against the law!"
"Is the ****ing Coast Guard gonna get us or something? What the hell's the deal?"
"I'm not licensed to fish in Canada."
"Where the hell's the line? It's just water, what the hell is the problem? We're in the middle of a big ****ing lake for Chirst's sake! I don't see a ****ing line anywhere!"

Yeah, so that went on for a bit. Needless to say, my uncles and grandpa had a fantastic trip.

The old guys are a bit heavy on the language, but that's how they told the story, so that's how I told it. I can just imagine a bunch of grumpy men arguing over stupid stuff like that.
