It's a chick flick if you hadn't already figured that out.
Did a double date last night with my wife and another couple.
This is the only way I'd go see this movie. Guys, if your girl wants to drag you out to see it, see if she'd like to double date, as this is a much better movie when you've got another guy there.
Synopsis of the movie. This lady writes a column for a Women's magazine. After seeing her friend get dumped again after 7 days, she decides to see if she can pick up a guy in one night, and then drive him nuts in 10 days to see if he leaves. Not a mentally engaging movie.
The reason I recommend having a buddy and his girl there, is so that the girls enjoy the picture, and you have a compadre who can back you up when you say, "I've had girlfriends like that". Helps get you through the movie.
My wife and I did enjoy the movie, but it's not likely that we will own it on DVD.
Guys, it's a great way to take the better half out for a good evening, and to a movie that she will really enjoy.
