How to make vid

I have a video camera from the late 80's and early 90's and was wondering how I can get the tapes on my computer. Or even how to convert tapes to DVD's. Thanks if you help

Your camera probably has composite output (red-white-yellow). If so the procedure is:

1) Get a TV tuner (ie Pinnacle PCTV Rave)
2) Get a Audio composite -> Line-in converter (Any electronic stores have this)
3) Get a program called DScaler (it's in the net)
4) Record on the fly

You can get the TV tuners pretty cheap too, mine was $50 and had an S-Video input too.
