892 HP[international] = 904.372 (905) HP or PK[metric]. So the maximum power is the same.

Anyway, can anyone shed light on people claiming the pre-order NASCAR has more power?

Didn't mean to sound ignorant with my post... Aslong as your NASCAR car wins, does it matter if you buff it any more? Just saying.. I don't even like NASCAR racing myself...

Difference between HP (or WHP [Wheel Horse Power] to be more precise) is measured at the wheels. BHP (Brake Horse Power) is measured at the flywheel. WHP is usually about 15-20% lower in a FR car due to drivetrain losses. There is pretty much no way a NASCAR is going to have 905bhp and 892whp.

I know all this already. I'm not the one claiming to have 905bhp OR 905hp or whatever else false number is flying around. 892HP is what I got so not sure why you quoted me with your response.

The difference isn't about bhp or whp.

Its PS compared to bhp. For instance 500ps is actually 493bhp..

905ps is 892.6bhp..So GT rounds it up to 893bhp.

And you're incorrect, PD converts HP into ps/pk, not the other way around. Hence the max being 892, and not the rounded up conversion you claim is 893.

Not quite right, BHP and HP actually convert the same.

All NASCAR cars have the same amount of power! The only difference is the conversion from country to country. I know people who have 905 Metric HP, or 905 CV, which both convert to 892 HP. I was really interested in this, but that's all there is to it. People need to get over it and realize they're all the same.
