Hi all,

i enjoy driving in gt 5 so much, i'm thinking now about how it would be with a racing wheel. The only problem that comes in to my mind ist: How to mount it proper? The reason is, i won't buy a racing seat and i don't have a kitchentable in the living room on which i could fix the wheel. The only solution for me would be to put it on my legs while sitting on the couch. But i think then it will shake too much and won't be the right thing :/?

So...how do you do it :)?

without a table, racing stand, or stand and racing seat, its not comfortable.

I have a wheel, but my home has kids, so any stand has to be able to be removed and setup quick, and these days, its too much hassle. That and my couch makes you lean back, and to sit upright I need to put pillows behind my back...its just not very comfortable.. I DS3 90% of the time.
Keep in mind, after the cost of a wheel, if your not going to build your own, your looking at $140-$200 for a wheel stand.

It's not a good idea to put a wheel on your lap (especially the ones with force feedback) because it's more uncomfortable than using your thumbs, most wheels require a stand that has 18mm or above, hope this helps

I clip it on the ironing board on the lowest height and my legs still fit through it.
