How to post race replay pics on treads

I just tried to upload some pics I took of my races this Sunday, and when I went to upload them on to Gtplanet it said invalid file. I took the pics with my smart phone, so do I have to convert the pics to another format, or should this work?

Have a look here. It's pretty simple once you have an account setup with imageshack. I can't speak for the other hosting sites.
 
I use only PS3 for browsing, is there any way of uploading straight from PS3?

For direct from PS3 uploading and file hosting of pictures
(Will not post how to use the web browser c&p its brain dead simple.)
