How to post race replay pics on treads

I just tried to upload some pics I took of my races this Sunday, and when I went to upload them on to Gtplanet it said invalid file. I took the pics with my smart phone, so do I have to convert the pics to another format, or should this work?

Have a look here. It's pretty simple once you have an account setup with imageshack. I can't speak for the other hosting sites.

I use only PS3 for browsing, is there any way of uploading straight from PS3?
