How to split Outputs

Hey up.

New here so hello all gt people.

Have a quick question regarding recording the output from the ps3 to the pc.

I have a 8800 ultra with a svhs input/output, and can record through this, i have the ps3 running from component cables, is it possible to split the 5 outputs from the ps3 and run one set to the monitor @ 1080i and then convert another set to svhs.

I have looked and searched about for conversion cables but cant find anything on it.

I have done this with the standard red/yellow/white connectors, pretty easy. I am sure it wouldnt be hard for any others, youll just need 2 sets of wires and splice them together. The only thing I noticed after i split them was it was a little darker than before. But that is it.
