What's Xbox?
I have many cars (even in stock form) that want to get up on two wheels or flip over in the corners. Is this due to an amazing amount of grip? Unrealistic physics? Bad tune? I was hoping maybe someone had the answer on how to fix this. Thanks

Turn off all the AIDS first. My Cobra did this at first with SRF and TCS on turned them of and all is bueno.

If you're an online type of person, flipping should be no problem for you, as GT5 doesn't use the same physics online as offline, so flipping is nonexistent. If you're an offline type of person, switch to Sports Soft tires. In the right hands, you can churn out some insane lap times on what in actuality are glorified street-legal tires.

Online grip levels were recently patched to equal offline

Granted, you still can't flip a car online. However you can get it up on 2 wheels quite easily. Well over 45 degrees

The only cars I can do this with are old muscle cars with ridiculous suspension tunes. If you are nearly rolling a car, Id say you're driving it wrong

Is this offline/online thing including the seasonals? IE, do they included them as online events, or just the lobbies?

I don't really know exactly how the update changed things for seasonal... But I don't think it did.

However, I can tell you that the only times I can remember that I've ever rolled over cars were in Seasonal events.
When I first got the game 2 years ago, I rolled the '74 Lambo over in a seasonal race at Trial Mountain.
I also rolled a Honda Z Act in a kei car seasonal.

I rolled a Z at the beginning of the Nordshleife: just drove onto a straight curb and did a barrel roll landing on my wheels on the grass at the other side of the track :dopey:. Trial Mountain is the classic of course, and a custom Mt Aso track if I cut a jump corner are the only places I think I've rolled.

Is the OP riding over big curbs with hard suspension, and race softs? Or is he a Honda Z fan?

it is definitely due to the mischoice of the suitable tyres or the wrong setting for the layout of a track, bartering the tyres to a harder pair on the road or switching all the driving aids off, could be a rapid solution to the problem.

The Beetle rolls over the easiest for me, but strangely the taller VW Camper doesn't?

Great pic watermelonpunch.

I'm curious as to why amazing grip would lead to a car rolling? I'd have thought too much torque and a tight turn...Oh, I see, good grip and too much torque, turn tight and roll.

I was kind of joking that the car could have so much grip that the car would literally not let go of the racing surface

Maybe play around with the suspension. Soften the spring rates and try lowering the ride height a little. Maybe even some ballast to weigh it down.
