How to unlock Goodwood Hillclimb track?

Can you do this?? Would like to drive my own cars at the Festival of Speed

I've been meaning to ask the same question. Can it be unlocked in Free Run mode? Also, can the dirt & snow tracks be unlocked for Free Run? Is there anyone with 100% completion that can answer these questions?

So you can do it in arcade mode? Of course!! Forgot that you can select your own garage for that. Thanks, question answered.

I got gold at all Goodwood events and still didn't unlock it in free run. It's only unlocked in arcade for time trial, Maybe that restriction is why its locked in GT mode

What's the diference? In arcade mode it also records your times for example..

I'm talking about going to Free Run in Garage, not arcade.

You can't race goodwood in free run mode. Go to single player then time trial and then you'll be able to select it.

Is there any kind of difference between selecting Test Drive from the Garage, and selecting Time Trial from Single Player? Besides this Goodwood thing? I'm asking because I do time trials a lot, but I've been using Test Drive mode exclusively.

To have the dirt and snow tracks unlocked in free run you first have to buy whichever tyres you will be using for the car, so if you're running on Chamonix buy snow tyres, and for the others you'll need dirt tyres. If you don't own the tyres they just appear locked.

Presumably because you can't do laps of it, and free run mode is supposed to be for you to drive for as long as you want to. In fairness arcade mode let's you do exactly the same thing, plus it has a leaderboard, and it hardly takes longer to set up.

I love Goodwood event, where Lord March invites me to drive various legendary cars but i would like to drive my tuned cars there too... in the garage, under section "Free Ride" in track selection menu i see Godwood track, but i can't select to drive there...

Sadly You can only access it through Single player time trial. Hopefully Goodwood and the lunar surface can be made available in a future update. Would love to be able to take a few laps.

Go into "Arcade Mode" and select "Single Player." Then select "Time Trial" and Goodwood will be available under "World Circuits." You can use your currently selected car to run the track.

I believe that the reason it's not available in "Free Run" is because it's a point-to-point track that runs from a standing start, so you can't just loop around it as you can for the other tracks in the game. This is just a guess though.

Got to try that. It would be great to compare Goodwood times with friends who drive the same car or something like that. Also i miss in-game leaderboards for every track, like in GT5 where I could easily compare lap times for different cars...

Now I think of it, I believe it also has to do with the fact that Goodwood is only used for time trials, so it can't actually be raced (that is, multiple cars all on the track at the same time) in real life.

I think it's PD trying to mimic real life here, though it would be nice to have a time trial option available within the normal "career" mode.

Goodwood's a straight point A to B run, not a circuit, so I dunno how you plan on doing laps unless you're going to handbrake turn at the end and go back the other way.

in gt5 it was under "practice" section. i assume that in gt6 it's called "free ride" and there is no top 10 for every track there. you're talking about "time trial" under "single player" section, right?

Yes, single player - time trial - top 10 times for each track the same as GT5 practice mode!
You can't see your friends times in either version but you can see them in licence tests and seasonals in GT6.
