Good power from that Honda, although I notice the power runs were performed on a rather laughable Twin-Roller Mustang Dynamometer, I'd like to see what figures that car would make on a decent hub-based dyno (ie. A Dynapack)...

Sounds like it means business though!

I dont know what dino it used but stil for that tini engine thats some MEAN grunt and at 7500rpm usualy they rev WAY higher. but yea that thing has some balls

For sure, a good B16 or B18 Honda should go to 9000+ without too much trouble, serious valve springs needed though, I seem to recall Spoon testing the B16 upto something insane like 15,000! Crazy!

can you say about anything that pulls up to it killer?

and it would sell SO good :scared: 500+hp 4.0L

imagine that in an NSX-R lambo ferrari pegany killer for 1/4 the price!!!!!

You can make pretty much any car run 550+ whp with enough money... But that doesn't mean every car should be able to be knocked up above 550hp in GT4.

Nice vid though...

I well aware of the engines in just about all hondas I like the B16's B18c1 (USDM Teg GS-R) and the prelude H22 first honda I drove.

did they put the prelude into GT4?
and os there a coupe civic not the dumb hatch

You're confusing the Mustang with a DynoJet. The Mustang being the more accurate of the two. I don't see anything laughable about either one, they all get the job done.

yeah i've seen some bad GNX's in my day... most ppl don't touch them tho... cause they so rare... only 547 exist... and probably less than that now.. with stupid drivers and such...

learn about them at www.buickgnx.com

Actually, most of the modified ones are GN's and T-Types, but there is no difference in the engines in the cars. The GNX just had a different turbo and intercooler. I suprise plenty of people in my little black V6 car.

turbo buicks are awesome. my buddy has a rosewood t type, did an intake and tuning and it went 12.70. but it still cant hold a candle to my 91 t/a in the corners. granted im a second slower in the 1/4, but i had 305 ci of excuse under the hood. i wish they would have put the 89 turbo trans am in the game, best of both worlds

I wanted to know about the acura/honda nsx. How well does this car tune?

in Gt 3, you could tune the racing ones to 1000hp , but the stock ones only to around 500hp. anyone have any new experiences with the Nsx?

Which NSX are you looking at in particular?

I have 01 NSX, 01 NSX Type S Zero, 02 NSX Type R, 01 NSX Type R concept and 02 NSX Type R Prototype LM Race Car plus Honda HSC and Dualnote.

Is the redline raised on the tach when you equip a NA stage 2 or 3 mod? In GT2 they did, but in GT3 they did not.

How about the Dodge Viper? What kind of hp does that put out when fully tuned?

Fully tuned out depends which path you choose. With the supercharger 757 ps and with n/a stage 3 tuning it is 1032 ps.

It does like in Viper's case it's raise from 6500 rpm to 6900 rpm redline with na stage 3.

slapping on parts to build horsepower or handling is not tuning.

tuning is messing with what you already have in order to optimize its performance.

Good, that suits me. The RB26DETT and the 2JZ-GTE both tend to break things with "fair" frequency when over that kind of power, regardless of the rubbish you can read on the web and in poorly informed tuning magazines. If nothing else, then those engines will need to be rebuilt every 10,000 miles or so as the main bearings will be like tinfoil! Although rather more so in the RB26 than the 2JZ, as the RB does have very small diameter and width main bearings - hence however it revs happily.

Gran Turismo is about track racing, primarily, therefor a place where an 800 hp Skyline or Supra has very limited uses, much better to have a decently setup 500-550hp car, easier and more consistent to drive... :)

The 2JZ-GTE and Rb26DETT can both top out more than 1000hp with ease.....with another BE (bottom end, so new conrods, crankshaft etc.). I've never seen that option in GT before, so if they dont put it in, I'm happy the HPs are stuck at 800, which is the limit for the 2JZ-GTE with SBE and 700 for the RB26DETT with SBE.

What's the problem with a car that you can't monserize into a 1200 bhp beast?
A small FF car often weigh less than Kylie Minogue's dress, and because of that they handle like a dream, and often outrun much bigger and more powerful cars.
