So im back after a somewhat long hiatus. im 1mic, i was banned long ago, ive been a member since march '02. and felt a return would be sweet since i dont know any other place that has GT players/Kart racers/car enthusiasts and gamers all in one. đź‘Ť

yup im back 1mic aka jergto now resides in GTP!!!!

btw i gotta race this saturday at the world famous Infineon Raceway, yes that track itself. on a go kart no less! (dont worry this kart halls F'n ass)

im not taking it into offense, besides that guys new and he might be up to date with GTP, but hes still a noob and the kids only 16. :dunce:

I'm pretty sure he meant to say that, considering how he made the point that he's been here since 02, and that Solid Snake is a "noob", and how he's only 16.

EDIT: If he did mean to say that, then his post makes even less sense. Either way = FAIL.
 
Its good to see that you are a Birel man đź‘Ť I've been racing karts in the yamaha sr can class for about 8 years now, mainly for weekend fun seeing as how we dont really go to any tracks other than the one here in Illinois. I dont know if you have ever been here but its in a small town called Norway.

no i dont race the small tracks, this will be my 2nd race ever, the last time i raced was last year also after thanksgiving (they only open the track to karts twice a year). racing on a road course you get to really open up on these karts.

No, Loon was right I'm not up to date with GTP like SolidSnake is, but I've been around to know the ropes, and don't try pulling no rank on me or try talking down to me son, you don't rate.

Firstly, welcome back.

Secondly, make no mistake that, though I say "welcome back", you are the GTP equivalent of a skinny bloke with a huge overcoat looking furtive walking through Customs. And I'm holding the rubber gloves.

Read, re-read and re-re-read that Acceptable Use Policy (linked at the bottom of every page). Read it out loud, record it to tape and listen to it while you sleep every night.

Well I can say there probably was no reason to have an I'm back thread was there if I was going to get the boot treatment/skylining myself?
My excuse for another user name is I don't have a Cobra (svtsnake), thought I would get one but didn't, so bam! Changed it to a more relative name. Although I do remember famine, I don't remember ever talking to you.

I may be nearing 16, but that doesn't mean I'm a noob. Really being a "noob" on a forum doesn't sound right. Does it mean I have to be here a while to not be new at talking to strangers? And if this forum did describe people as "noobs" it would be the people with the New Member tags. Even if they had an account long ago. It actually takes a real noob to get banned.

Whatever this guys past there's no reason to talk down to him or treat him like an outcast. He's back, if he hasn't learned then he wont be back for long. If he has and wants to stick around here and makes an effort to fit in then we as good as have a new regular member. Leave his past to the mods, welcome him back and see where he goes form there.

Jergto, I can't remember you specificaly I use to go by the username live4speed, I don't know if our paths crossed, but welcome back either way.

I think I remember seeing your name every now and then. The people that stuck out in my mind where:

dudebusta (don't know what happened to that "bloke")
mistax (only GTP member I talk to)
most of the mods
and a bunch of others I can't name off the top of my head.

Thanks for the welcome back, I wanted a place to report my race experience and this was actually one of the first forums I was a member at, I'm a somewhat regular at SVTPerformance, and between the two I'll be here and there, and sometimes ls2gto (ls1 ls2 ls3 etc all the same site). Tomorrow will be the big day, finally get to really open up on the 125icc Kart, and see what speeds I can take it on the straightaway. :dopey:
