HP Discrepancy

http://www.turnrite.com/conversions.htm gives the conversion of what i assume to be US horsepower to that of metric horsepower. The conversion ratio is from (US HP) * (1.014) = (Metric HP). So with 516Hp * 1.014 = 523.224 thus your garage discrepancy. The difference between garage hp and trackside is elevation and time of day/tempurature. Hope this helps.

No, it doesn't help. That doesn't matter. The replay says that my CSL has 492hp no matter what the track. Laguna Seca has an average elevation of 55ft. The 'Ring, on the other hand, has an elevation between 1000ft and 2000ft at lowest and highest points. So, your theory would say that the car should have less power on the 'Ring, but it doesn't. So, that isn't it. Sorry.
