Don't know if this has been asked before, but is it only premium cars that seem to edge up in HP and PP as you're breaking them in? None of the standard cars I have bought 0/0/0 and then driven them for a few events seem to get this increase.

Cars you buy from the OCD are pre-broken in (I think).

It seems that way. I bought the Alfa Spider 3.0i from the OCD like 3 or 4 updates ago, and I've run it on every 400PP event that's been released since, and it still stays at 223 HP/ 400 PP.

The cars I use for the 500 and the 650 PP races I bought from the dealerships, and after almost every race I have to use the power limiter to get it down to the respective PP.

OCD cars: don't require break-in
Dealership, UCD, Tickets: require break-in
*There are a few cars which don't require break-in regardless of where it was acquired. Eg. Veyron

UCD cars typically have many miles on them and only require an oil change or engine rebuild for max hp or pp.
New cars have 0 miles and need about 300km to be fully broken in.

But do the Standard UCD cars with low miles get the extra HP/PP increase after breaking in? I have noticed on a couple cars that they haven't. For example, I found an '05 R8 race car (which is standard) in the UCD with 135 miles on it. Ran the 4-hour Nurburgring endurance, changed the oil after the race, and the HP/PP stayed the same. Did the same race with the GT-R R35 TC (which is premium) with about the same amount of miles on it, changed the oil after the race, and the HP/PP increased.

Just from what I have seen, the premium cars are getting the "break-in increase" while the standards aren't.
