I have this feeling MINOLTAS, F1s , X1s and anything above 600-700 hp is simply too much. Makes the racing not so fun.

On the other hand, anything below 130-150 hp is freakin' boring slow.

I always think the sweetest drives are from cars in the 300-500 HP range with sports tyres and minimum assistances (maybe ABS only).

You know... enough power to make it thrilling but not too much to make it overwhelming or uncontrollable at some point, or too little to make it seem like slow-motion driving.

Anyone else agrees?

i agree completely. racing tires turn gt5 into scalextric. for me the perfect hp is between 3 and 500 as well.

Is that the problem? Those cars are far from uncontrollable, maybe just practice a bit more.

On the slow cars, in past game definaitely. However, GT5's physics don't make the slow cars snails on rails, so they're a bit more fun. Just don't forget to downgrade the tires. I remember the 550 PP online event from GT5P, good for Integras, etc, but the tires were unrestricted, so everyone used racing soft. It killed the event.
