HUD in replays

I'm trying to capture some replays from the interior views but the HUD keeps appearing. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove it during replays in other views? Pressing anything seems to bring up the annoying on-screen data menu, when I'm sure I was able to zoom in pressing triangle before.

Yeah, I don't get GT5's replay system. It worse than the old in just about everyway when it comes to just watching a race.

As far as getting rid of the menu, select the remove data display button and don't press anything, and it should remain off screen.
 
I don't think you can remove this, I only find it annoying when you watch the replay inside the car looking back at your driver and the timer is right in front of it. I was wondering if this could be removed too, was gonna go into settings and try to remove the hud ingame and maybe that will remove them in the replays?
 
Afraid there is no such option, but Kaz said in one of his tweets they might consider adding an option to remove it.
I was just testing the stealth 787b @ the ring and the cockpit is a amazing and has a really clear display, you don't need the games hud all over the top of it especially when your'e not racing, totaly spoils it.
