Hello too all gtplant members, and drift racers. I am making a drift video, and I am looking for very skilled drifters for this video. The name of the video will be, Bad Influence Drifting - The Religion. For anyone who wants to be apart of this video, you must have a few things:
A creditable gtplanet name, a capture card, and some recording software.

If anyone is interested in more info, or wants to drift in this video. Please contact me.

Well sir, as of now. I am just looking for drifter. I havent even gave it a thought, about when it will hopefully be done. But let me say we will be covering most if not all the best drifting tracks. There will also be a ton of jaw droping events. We all ready have a tease trailer from a few drifers. Can you say quad drifting?

hmmm sounds interesting... i would be interested if i actually had a way to record my drifting on video......
Go to the local best buy, or staples. Get a cheap capture card. There only like $50.00 for a cheap one. Then record it, and ill have a login for all of my drifters, where they can login, and upload there videos. Yes a website will be comming soon as well.

will you be covering all styles of drifting? ex. 360 drifts, parallel, twin, touge, ect... i would volunteer cause my skill in drifting in GT4 has gotten better but i don't have a capture card and i'm a newbie so i don't have a creditable gtplanet name..so i'm not even ranked w/ good drifters here

Well drift. We will be putting out quite a few volumes of Bad Influence. We will try to cover some of our very new styles. And then focus on the other styles of drifting. And as for a creditable name. I just dont want no ******** kids trying to get on this project. Thats all I mean by that.

And for you my friend. A video capture card, records anything that is present on your tv screen. It record it directly too your pc. So you have a very clear video.

.

I would try out too but I haven't established a creditable name as well :grumpy: . As for the capture card I do not have access to one at the moment :guilty: .

i'd like to sign up... but i still am getting used to the GT4 physics.. i'd be willing to get a capture card i think i have about 1.4g in my bank anyway what would 50$ do to it ahaha. if your willing to let me practice and actually join your team email me or add me on msn Toyosauce@hotmail.com. As for the creditable name, hey a guy gots to start somewhere right? why not on your video :) see you in the meer future.
btw at the current moment, i am testing ToyotaTuner's Toyota Corrola (AE83) [Trueno Sprinter] settings, if that does not work for me i guess i'll be making some minor adjustments... the handling seems to be good but im still trying to get the hang of it.. plus im still missing some parts ;) . if none of those work for me i guess i'll be switching to a Sileighty or Evo 3

Hey, I'm exteremly interested in the video. I'll start saving up the $50 for the capture card, (I still need that thing explained to me) and I'll practice drifting. If you have any specific type of drift or car model let me know. (But as you might have already guessed I prefer an RX-7) So yeah, my email is gogreengo@gmail.com

im definitely interested, but the idea of going and buying a video card is sort of preventing me... because i am kinda short on money (poor student).

ill get back to you in a few days when i buy a vid. capture card

Not necessarily here for the drifting, but the video capture part kept me reading this thread. Someone want to post up a link(s) or at least the model/brand of a capture card? I've wanted to do some video editing ( try ) with GT4, but the problem has always been finding a decent card that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I'd be happy if I can at least capture the same quality screen resolutions that my 27" TV displays.

Ok ill break some things down, um there will be some squad drifting, and that is 4 cars drifting together smoothly. Sometimes 2 side by side. We tryed doing 4 cars side by side, in one smooth drift, but it wont happen anytime soon. We need much more practice. But in volume one of Bad Influence, there will be doubles drifting for sure.

OK now for the capture cards. If you didnt know. These cards are comming off the market very soon. So get them while you can. Anyways, in my opinion the best cards are made by matrox.

I wouldnt get anything else, because this kit comes with over 2000$ USD worth of software from adobe and acereapuo. I got mine for about 1350$ USD a few years back. But some other good brand that include nothing much than the cards are:

^Look here for all card info.

All,

You can also capture your video using any Digital8 / MiniDV video camera. Simply hook it up to the video/audio out on your TV and record, basically the camera acts like a VCR. Then just dump your DV to PC like you would normally do.

Of course this assumes you have a DV camera and the appropriate firewire capture software.
