Okay guys, only one of these pics has been touched up at all other than making the pic a little brighter and thus easier to see. I couldn't find an option to upload a massive amount of pics at one time using Image Shack, but I have all of them on file with PhotoBucket.

/\/\/\/\ Here are two links to my pics. They both lead to the same pics, but depending on your computer one may load faster than the other.

nice start. my advice would be to upload your favorite pics through imageshack.us. it will be a pain in the 🤬 , i know, but it will make viewing easier for the people looking at your pics

Wow, I gotta tell you, I saw your pics and mine have nothing on you! You're freaking awsome! I'm so new at these forums that I've got no clue how they work. Now I tried to download the imageshack thing and it's not compatible with my "flock" browser. But I might just have to download IE again. Now in searching through your pics, I saw that you use either photoshop or image ready. Now the legal way of asking you for a link to them is...
Can you provide a link to any useable version of PhotoShop or ImageReady? Or Free Trial?

And then I have to figure out how to get out of the stoneage and learn how to use that stuff. You're pics are so clean, I'm jealous. I don't even care if I get nominated or even win, I just want to make my stuff look better.

I highly recommend using smaller software before beginning with the massive Photoshop...

What would you suggest? I really have no idea how to use anything. I just recently figured out how to get my pics onto the computer for crying out loud! :dunce:

Picasa, GIMP, etc.

Those are basic editting programs, I've got some tutorials lying around, highly recommended by other users.

Once you know these, PS will be much easier 👍

Thank you very much, I'll check 'em out. I would still like links to the other stuff so I can eventually use them. But I'll definitely use these to get my feet wet. 👍

Okay, I've got to ask. How the heck do you guys insert links with the words you want instead of the actuall web address? You guys have been a big help. Thanks a lot.

Not bad. Like everyone else said try uploading your pics to imageshack and posting them up in this thread. Take a look at my gallery if you get the time.

Okay, I don't think I'm going to bother trying to enter now. Holy ****! I can't believe what you guys can do! It's just amazing.

Hello GeoQuin4. You have a HUGE amount of pics there.. very nice start to your gallery. I'm not of much help when it comes to editing software or how to make pics look awesome (relative newbie myself). When I take pics I go for interesting angles and just play 'round with the GT4 photo options (aperture, shutter-speed, brightness, etc). I'll probly never be able to compete with the skills of some of the members here, but I enter the comps when I can.. you should too.

Very nice photo's. IMO nothing wrong with where you have placed them. If people do not want to go to a differnt web page to look at them. Then that is their problem and not yours. For those that like a good collection of photo's then there are many in this collection.

Still looking at photo's, about half way done out of the 550 plus. To viewers the larger number does not mean that where they are stored at takes a long time to load.

Well after spending maybe close to an hour I have looked at 90% of the photo's.

In conclusion, really nice to see a huge group of GT4 photo's. Really reminds me of how great GT4 is.
Sometimes you got to step back and see the whole picture.

Thank you very much. Yeah I downloaded that thing and it was such a pain in the ass to transfer the photos, I just said screw it. I've got more pics that I'm putting online every day. Thanks again.

Hey man, nice start. It seems you have some jaggies in your pictures, but I can't tell if it's from the site resizing them or not. Just to make sure, do you save them directly to the USB drive? In other words, don't save them to the memory card first and then transfer them. When you save them to the memory card, it compresses them and makes them all jaggy. Save them directly to the USB drive. If the jaggies are from the site you're using, I'd recommend using a different site ;)

As for making your pictures look better, download Picasa (it's totally free, and very easy to use) and start messing around with brightness and contrast. Then, start adding in some saturation. You'd be surprised with how much it can help a picture. After that, just start trying things out like blurring some texture "bumps", smudging sharp edges, adding filters, etc. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can learn to make your pictures look a lot better :)

Oh yeah, and check out my gallery when you get the chance :D

No, I don't save to the memory card first. I take too many pictures to go through the trouble of taking two steps to transfer. Sorry I haven't posted anything recently. I have more pics in my gallaries, but I've been working on some videos too. Check them out...

And thanks again. I'll get right on downloading that stuff you guys are telling me to and I'll fix my pics.

Nooo! Before you download those, take a look at PaintdotNet.

It has to be the best program for learning the basics of editing.

I downloaded this and it's no less complicated than PhotoShop7. I'm just too computer illiterate to figure these things out. I'll just have to keep them all natural.

Alright guys, I just started photoshopping. I found a great tutorial and if anyone wants it I'll give you the link. This is the link to my photoshop album.
