I'ms till working on getting close to the wall and inside curve, today was the first day I tried. Tell me how it is...

Last one's not too clear, but I'm close...

Those pictures of you are pretty nice mr. 'Spyder V'! I think you should take more pictures of the momentum in the corner just like mr. 'mechaman1979' and me. It gives so much more proof of what you are able of doing! Not that I don't believe you or something ;)
Anyways, those pictures of the drifting Sil80 on Trial Mountain remember me of the good old days with GT2... I could drift the corner in your first picture almost with my eyes closed... (yeah, as if!) Keep it up and sliding!

i LOVE drifting at costa. it does take quite a bit of skill tho indeed. drifting there gives lots of practice on throttle control and steering angle's/control. i can almost do a complete lap, theres still 2 or 3 turns where i always flub a good lap....mainly the 1st huge "S" turn, what a pita.

nice pics guys!!

It's an S15 =Þ Anyways, Alright... I'll try again today and give pictures for the whole entering, drift, and exit. ^_^

EDIT: Trial Mountain with my G35... just one lap becaue I got bored... that and I was playing around with the LSD.

Nyahahaha! Stupid me! I looked only for a sec. and the memories of my blue sil80 mixed up with your picture! :p Anyways, the new pictures look really great! But I think getting close to a WALL is more exiting than getting close to the side of the road... The overall feeling is much better and it looks a lot cooler to me. (at least) A good example from mr. 'FC3Sleepah'! Could you get any longer than 0.5 seconds to the wall? Like the whole corner? Now THAT is what I call a challenge! :dopey:

Sorry guys, but the only true way to show off your 1337 skills is through video.

pictures are just too forgiving.

Aww 'cmon man! Please don't spoil the fun now! Now, how can I make videos without any equipment? The only way then is to take a load of pictures and post it, IMHO. :) and a bit of trust ofcourse... :nervous:
Try this one:

I did this one in a Mercedes E55 AMG. The only modifications I made were: Sports exhaust and N2 tyres. It's drifiting in pure style baby!

I held the g35 for the whole corner..lol it got a bit close right near the end though..=) Also, I'll try again with another car. Get multi-pics up. I'm kind of obsessed with fast forward at the moment. So I'll get off of that and take pics for you guys to enjoy =)

..cien? I'm up for it..=D but, I'm still going to be working on that stuff with other cars. Haven't played since yesterday at lunch..lol

Hahaha My Cien is one of my favorite cars to drift with at the moment... it gets so fast so quickly, and the way I set it up, it just responds so amazingly.

EDIT: First attempt...

And that's it for now...

Them drifting with the Cien look totally insane! Never tried that one before :indiff: I'm now totally busy with working and all that stuff, so I don't really have the time to doodle around with my PS2... But beware for more wall-cuddling action in the near future!

The idea of drifting next to the wall is pretty cool, I should try it sometime. :)

I hesitate to say it, but it's Takumi style. :dopey:

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe you drifted the Cien!!!!!!!! I.........I'm speechless.

Anyways, I wish I could post pics, but at High Speed Ring I can drift the first long sweeper and the last banked turn, both within a foot of the wall the whole way 'round. I can do it with a few cars, the '00 Mustang Cobra R, '00 RX-7 Bathurst, or D1GP FC RX-7.

Hahaha the Cien is really easy to drift! It's all just about throttle control if you want some settings, I can post them on the setting depot =Þ But I love drifting my Cien... it's such a showy car to drift in (and lots of smoke too... especially on N2's with 941 HP)

Yeah I driven it stock with Sports Soft tires and from what I found I would've said that you couldn't make it drift well. Guess I gotta play with it and see what it can do.

I wish I could put some of my stuff on videos. Everyone that brags so much about skylines and they wouldn't talk so hardcore. I love evos and just to show consistencey.Three different evos on the same corner, so you know this drift like this is not a fluke. Pictures are only forgiving if you do want to hide things. I do not choose to hide things. I have only been drifting for a month and a half and I don't do it alot. In an earlier post someone said pictures are forgiving, well, could someone tell me how forgiving pictures are now?

Nice Cien pictures mr. 'Spyder_V'! (apart from the first four from the last session ;) ) That corner you did on Trial Mountain is a hard one! I tried it a few times with a few different cars (190E EVO2, Levin Compressor, E36 M3) and it's hella hard!

Well, I've found some older pictures from my mp3 player. (now in use as an usb-stick) It's my Levin Compressor on the Montecarlo circuit. The pictures are not as forgving as my previous ones, but decent enough... (I guess)

The first wide corner after the uphill

The last corner after the downhill:

This course isn't as hard as it looks though. The corners are a bit hard for racing... You gotta love the hairy hairpin though ;)

Nope its turbocharged like Aki's 86 from initial d 2nd stage

Erm... In 4th stage WATARU (don't say Aki... Please...) his Levin is supercharged over 200PS. In stage 2 it's a turbo driven one, agreed. Anyways, it's a wonderful drifitng machine! My favourite actually. I'm starting to like superchargers more than turbos :p Although I like "compressor" a bit better... It sounds not as it has something to do with those 'muscle-cars'...

Well, from my point of view the last 3/4 pictures look as if they were taken at the same moment but from a different angle... Try to make more pictures of different momentum... Still, props for drifting an AWD! I never really suceeded in doing so ;) I'm more of a FWD drifter :p Still, I'm in a forgiving mood :dopey:

I hope to have some more to show after the weekend!

Thanks Toni Babelony, Trial Mountain is where I practice most of the time just because of the diversity of turns, and I LOVE those turns that I took with my Cien, they're the trickiest =Þ Also, you repeated what you said twice. Aside from that, very nice pics!! Wish I could get that close for that long...

you asked... cuz pictures only show a solid moment in time. entrance, speed, steering, technique, exit, smoothness, yada yada yada are all only implied and not proven. a sequence would at least show motion. whereas video shows the whole event in real time. get a capture card and start makin some movies bro.

Here's one of my getting close to the wall. I'll try to get more up soon just don't have the time right now cause I'm in the middle of the Le Sarthe 24h endurance race.

My pic of me drifting close to the wall / grass

I like the S2000 rear tyre on the grass the best :)
