Well I liked it (got it 2 days ago or so).

The physics are good and the same for the game modes (the AI is a bit crazy... well impossible to beat at times...).

As for visuals it looks just amazing.

And a really fun game overall.

I agree, I think it is great but the freak shots the AI go for (and often get) are annoying.

I will say that $12.95AUD (around 7 Euros) is a bargin.

Does this game have sixaxis controls and can you play it using only the buttons / sticks?
It looks interesting, but if it has sixaxis controls only, I rather not waste my money.

It have 2 kinds of controls to shoot, and they are:

1st - Back and front motion from the analog (you can use any of them, or you can even push 1 back, and then push the other front at the same time you release the 1st one... it's actually what I do normally...).

2nd - A line will be going around the white ball (bottom left corner, where you see where you are aiming in the white ball), and you have to press X at the right time (in this mode the line will spin faster or slower depending of how hard the shot is to be made).

The only thing that the sixaxis function is used in the game is to add Chalk to the Cue...

Oh, that's cool. Thanks! 👍

I guess I can live with the sixaxis / chalk "controls" :)

I'm not sure, it should but no word on when yet.

I might have to look into getting this, when I get around to buying myself some PSN cards. Do you still think it is a good game Jay? I know sometimes games seem to be really good until you start to comes across annoying bugs, does this game have any really bad ones that you have come across. If not i'll seriously think about buying it.

Yes, I still think it is good except I am bored of it now, which is expected I suppose for a focused game (very well done one, I must say)

If I was to point out annoying parts of the game, it would have to be the fact when playing offline (many offline options like Career, Tournament, trick shots etc) the AI tends to go for a lot of freak shots that only real pros would spot, but in full competitions wouldn't risk going for. Also can been too easy with the long guided line, but you have the option to make it short or turn it off.

Oh there is various types of pool games/rules you can choose, not just the standard 8 ball.
