i seen a civic with a FR layout and it got a S2000 motor and the drivetrain ...and i heard it only run mid 14 sec with all the after market products on...to me that was a waste of money making your car run mid 14 sec with a s2000 motor in a civic hatch but what would happend if it was to be drifted......who knows love to see that

A Cyclone motor? Which engine? Depending on which model year and options, the Cyclones came with anything from a 3.3 litre flat six to the big, bad Boss 429:eek:

Also, how do you do these 'hybrid' cars anyway? Until recently, I haven't played GT3 in a long while so I'm pretty lost:rolleyes:

If you watch the "Monkey Factory" vid, in my sig, you will see a glimpse of a Hybrid RSX with an S2000 drivetrain, and a host of other hybrided parts.....

I have a huge number of Hybrid drift cars...... They will all be in my Hybrid drift vid, whenever I get around to capturing, and editing all the clips...

There are a few ways to do it, but the best way is to use either an X-port or a Sharkport to send your garage data to your PC.... Then you use a program called MK's which you can download here:

mk's GT3garage programme

That's a very helpful site, so read all of it, and you will be making cool hybrids in no time....

;)

Oh man I'm dorrling already... I'm imagining an f/094s with super softs, and an 1800hp escudo motor

That still don't answer the Cyclone question though:rolleyes: :D

EDIT: NM. I thought you meant the motors of an old Mercury Cyclone, you know, the ones that went head to head with Mopar in the late 60's in NASCAR

Also you said Lancer; There are three, no 4 possible 'sport compact' lancers I know of; The Dodge Lancer Turbo (late 80s), U.S. spec 'regular' lancer, U.S. Spec LAn-Evo VIII and non-U.S.-spec evos.

lol, I thought he was talking about the GMC Cyclone.

The Syclone, you mean. That was a hopped-up Sonoma, I think. Or a hopped-up Jimmy.

Yup, just a *little* confused. All those engine numbers confuse me, I prolly know more about american engines.

I only remember the Cyclone because of the whole big Aero War of 1970, arguably NASCAR's finest moment. Or Aero War II, which was 1987, the last year of the non-restrictor-plate superspeedway cars. '70 that was right before Ford pulled its racing program, and the wing cars were banned from nascar because they were too aerodynamic:lol: Thanks to those 2 events, the Ford Torino Talladega, Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II, Plymouth Superbird and Dodge Daytona disappeared from NASCAR.

SD, you think u could hybrid a fr car with a 4wd drive train and still get the no counter-steer going? that would be freaking awesome

I have an AWD JDM Integra, with a Turbo, and bigger rims.... It drifts very nicely.....

;)

uhhhhh WOW....how muchis a sharkport...i am in desperate mode hahaha... and is that all u need to get the hybrids?

+ can u get me a step by step instruction on how to get the cars into ur mem card? ;)

If you can find a Sharkport, or X-Port, then yes, that is all you need to make hybrids...... Well, that and MK's.....

As for a step by step guide...

That site tells you all you need to know about building hybrids.....

i never heard of hybrid drifting b4... wouldnt the hp be way to high? lol sorry but thats just my stereotyping of hybrids....

Hybriding has nothing to do with the power of the car....

A hybrid is a car made up of different parts from other cars.....

There are mild hybrids (or Mildbrids) that are realistic in terms of parts, and power. These usally have parts from the same manufacturer, and are feasable to build in real life.......

There are also real hybrids (or realbrids) that are representations of real cars....

;)

oh ok my bad hehe i never really read the hybrid section.. and i thought real hybrids in real life were called engine swapping...

I hope they get back up soon

wtf??? issert just me or i have no idea what he is talking about?
komatsu, there are many engine swaps, especially the toyotas, most of their engines can be interchanged and it is common for swapping of gearboxes, drivetrains, and even shells haha just look at drag racing...
