This might be too early, but is the guy that made the one for GT3 still around to make one for GT4??

if so, that would be sweet.

i cant wait to do something like this
M3 GTR's V8 into the 1 series
M5's V10 into the 1 series
RB26 into the 350Z
and alot more

Turbo Buick V6 into VY Commodore :D yeah baby, that's the one trick Holden missed during the ~16 years Commodores ran the Buick V6 as the standard motor

Hybrids, Camaro... Hybrids. You "hack" the save-game to give yourself cars that don't normally exist in the game. Or in real-life for that matter.

Unfortunately, MK (the creator of the Hybrid program for GT3) hasn't been seen anywhere online in a dog's age. Most people think that if a program is going to happen, it'll have to be someone else.

Hmmm, the possibilities are endless, 300SL with AMG SL65 or SLR power, Beetle with RUF BTR power ...

M5's V10 into the 1 series

So if this "hybrid" was created...does that mean it will have the power of the V10 and the weight of the 1 Series...if so how would "game" recognize this?? 💡

Let me see if I can get this right... this is all just a guess, but it makes sense:

When you drive a car in GT, it's not just the car that it loads. It also loads all the parts (because these parts can be swapped, like suspension, transmission, port polishing, etc). So let's say you load up a Mini (example only).. It loads Body1, Engine1, Tranny1, Suspension1, etc ("1" being the designation for the Mini). Now, let's say you loaded a 787B: Body185, Engine185, etc.

Now, if you fiddled with your save-game in just the right way, you can tell the game specifically what kind of car you have. Say, Body1, Engine 185. The game will simply load what it's told.. it's just a computer program, after all. So you get a Mini with a 787B engine in it.

It's more complicated than that, but the idea is the same. That's where the name "hybrid" comes from.. the cars you create are "hybrids" of components from other cars in the game. Like the Mini I have in GT3, the one from the Genome project. It looks like a Mini on the outside, but the body is the only thing that's Mini about it. Everything on the inside is from other cars in the game (I don't even know the specifics). And that so-called "Mini" can stomp anything you throw at it, including the F1 cars.

Who needs forza's engine swap when we got hybrid programs  bentley speed 8 engine in a model T :D

What I'd like to see is a way to isolate the backfire, so the car is constantly spitting out flames. So you can finally turn that Zonda into the rocket-car it looks like. :) (the exhausts, you know..)

And the "rocket-fire" would also help explain how a Benz three-wheel horseless carriage can go 300mph. :)

OO :scared: :scared: :scared:
Were did you get the program/hack...Do you download, burn then like switch CD's or something???

P.S. Any word on U.S. release :ouch:

It's all done on the PC. There's a whole forum right here on GTP devoted to Hybrids, all the information you need is in there (that's where I learned everything.. I didn't even know hybrids existed until I joined GTP).

You'll also need a way to transfer saves to your PC. I use an Action Replay MaxDrive. its a USB pen drive. and the programs listed in the Hybrids section of the GT3 Forum, It makes a big difference in the fun factor!

Hopefully we do get a hybrid program after not long. With the dramatic increase in cars available as compared with GT3, there will be even more possibilities!

I'd love to re-create my HyperVitz, with fully tuned ZZII engine and drivetrain - pink of course :D

I know how MKS' software works, and I know several people who will be working to get the necessary info.

Most important for me is getting replays, as many as possible, and savegames, to see if it is possible and how easy it will be. So those who have GT4 and a Max Drive or X-port, get those files out here. :)

Haha I'd never heard of Yashio Factory until you just mentioned it, but I checked it out and love the pink Vitz! :D

Now just imagine that with a mid-mounted 900hp turbo inline 6 and AWD :D

You must not get out much. He posts over at a different GT board on a weekly basis. Just doesn't post here.

He's been hanging out at the GTX, more or less regularly for the last couple of months...

I'm sure as soon as he get's his own copy (Finland, iirc) I'm sure he'll be looking into it.

repost, MK has said himself that He doesnt know if he can make another program for hybriding on GT4. He said hell try tho.

I've had a play with hybriding & as far as I remember thats pretty much the case. :)

i recieved an email from MK a few months ago letting me know he is still around, but he will be offline for awhile because he is remodeling his house.

I really hope he's able to make one for GT4. Even if he charged lets say, $5 for the program each person, Im willing to pay for it 👍 Of course people are going to distribute it for free, but im still willing to pay for his hard work. The one he made for GT3 is friggin awesome :)

does anyone know the highest hp ever created? i built a skyline with 700,000hp. had f1 handling also :dopey: but i did something else stupid and crashed the save

Mmmmm, Super Bee 426 Hemi into Volvo 245

I think it's around 5,746,***bhp. I had an Integra and RX8 that could do the 400m in 3.* seconds. The Integra wasn't made by me but I learnt to build the RX8 from it, all good stuff.

Haha! Yes, i love their Vitz, and F15 (Silvia). See Best MOTORing and you'll see Yashio Factory (180SX, S15, F15, Vitz)

Can't wait for Hybrid Program! To have the cheats to have the colors of our cars.

👍

Is there a method of hybriding cars in GT4?

If so, what do I need and where do I get it?

I would really appreciate knowing, as this can increase fun factor by like 300%.
