I was quite the fan of hybriding back in the GT2 and GT3 days. I never used the MK program, but by all accounts he is viewed as a god in the GT world. I will try :scared: to post a link to Gearhead's website that has all you could ever hope to find on hybriding for GT3. I went through that game a couple of times before I started hybriding. Something about a Ruf RGT with 1,500 HP and 1.5Gs of downforce on the car that makes me go... . Switching engines and adding downforce are the two main things that I did to spice up the gameplay. If I didn't like the sound of an engine, I just replaced it with one from the Denso Supra or the ZZII. Both of those engines just screamed!!!! Try this link for Gearhead. Hope it works!!! http://www.angelfire.com/games3/GTsaga/indexcont.html

must have been nice using the MK program. all i had was a gameshark version 2. talk about a pain to create cars. anyway, i don't remember the settings, but i have a new beetle rsi that does a 5.3 second 400m. also does a 30 second lap around the big test course loop. as long as it doesn't have to turn, or can bank around the turns, it's fine. but forget trying to actually stay on the road when turning.

from what i hear (not too sure of the credibility of the source) MK doesn't plan on making a program for GT4, but it shouldn't be too hard for someone familiar with the process to figure out the file structure of GT4. then they just need to figure out how to turn that data into options to choose from, or individual codes for gameshark or something. and while i'm calling that easy, i might as well go solve world hunger.... but theoretically, it should be as simple as activating a specific list of parts to "build" your car. for example, grab a midget chassis, super slicks, minolta engine, maximum downforce, level 3 weight reduction from an elise, and escudo drivetrain. bump up the horsepower by 2-3x, and you'd have almost the ugliest unbeatable (by non-hybrids) beast possible. someone just needs to figure out the values for each of the different upgrade options and convert those into some form the rest of us can use.

i have gt3 and gt4 and didnt even about hybrids till i read this post ! this sounds amazing ! could anyone send me a link to a post on here or a site that tells you how to make these hybrids on gt3 because i would love to try this out !

as for gt4 if there was ever a hybrid programe for it, i think my personal choice would be caterum 7 fireblade, with the escudo engine, f1 handeling, and minilota tires. now that would be amazing !!!
