Again, the big value of a tool like this, is to create realistic specs that are impossible with GT5 tuning options... Why I can't have a 1000hp Gallardo? A 600hp Civic? Those are numbers that exist out there. I hope this tool gets released one day, it would add a lot to GT5 if used correctly.

And thr idiot trolls, they exist anyway. With or without these monster cars.

Really, they are very common by now, if that was the first time you saw one online you're quite lucky. Maybe not in serious race rooms but in pretty much every other type of lobby, especially free run ones, they are everywhere.

I just noticed in this video both the GT-R and the Blitz appear to have an X1 engine (judging on the rev counter), when the Civic, Kart and FGT all had their orginal engines just with loads extra power.

I wonder if the GT-R and Blitz were made by a different person to who orginially made th Civic, Kart and FGT?

And I also wonder if this GT-R and Blitz are the first sign of that GT5 Garage editor in use Transformers was talking about in another thread.

You are correct. The creators of these two cars (who has went on to create many more hybrids) is different to the original guy. I've been told not to name anyone who can do this though.

Has already happened, have saw 1700bhp M5, 1400bhp Viper and much more...

Quarter mile? 8.6 seconds

yes it does wheelies and yes ive gotten kicked from every kart room ive been in. Absolutely hilarious though

I for one dont care about the million hp cars either. I'd like to have the ability to do actual power goals/ engine swaps.

I'd love to do
1200hp GTR's, Viper's, Corvette's like some Texas mile cars.
Rx-7 with zo6 engine
Honda fit with integra engine, etc..
 
Tonight in my open lobby I have encountered,,,

Blitz Skyline, Corvette ZR1 and Audi RS6 Avant, all of which were exceeding 600mph, and all from one user. (Speeds approximated by someone chasing in a hybrid X2010)

i'm wandering if these hybrids are coming from real time memory editing on ps3 since the debug tools were released about 6 weeks are more ago

There's always the fear that hackers will abuse the game to the point where it's no longer enjoyable and cheating is the norm. And it has happened, anyone who played Mario Kart DS online back in its heyday will know what i'm talking about.

For a game like Gran Turismo 5, this is more than likely not the case. Considering how far one may have to go to create or obtain these cars, the whole scene will be very small.

There's also the matter of how usable these cars are. 9/10 times if you're not on SSRX and in a pp restricted room, you will never run into these things, and if you do, they're usually outclassed by legitimate cars. Unless we get a bunch of people creating Supras and Carltons for 650PP Racing, i wouldn't even be concerned about how this will "ruin" the game.

I agree with you, if people don't want these cars in there room just set hp and pp limits. I have yet to find a race online where I could use my civic besides route x with other civics.

Make a room with the title as "Hybrid Civic racing" or something like that.
 
I wish they were making realistic tunes!!

hopefully they'll get banned after the update but, somehow i doubt it
 
Currently watching a Peugeot 307 with 3500hp with the RE Amemiya Aspara sound track on it :lol:
