Same, I tried this thing called CrossOver, and another one called wine bottler to open the .exe file, with no luck. Try it for yourself and see if you can figure out what the hell we're supposed to do with it.

CrossOver was meant to be mainly used on things like microsoft office, office suites that was based on windows or things like that. It wasn't really designed for any other purpose as far as I know of.

For running windows executables under linux you basically need wine along with any necessary dependencies for that executable (usually things like msvb if program was compiled from one of those visual studio and the program was off a visual basic code).

As of writing, the author has included the necessary dependencies as far as I'm aware of and I have tested it which works perfectly.

The author included:
- The main executable
- msvcr100.dll
- g{ames,lobal}.conf
- config file for the main executable
- pfdtool.exe

I have it working on my laptop with wine version 1.5.24. I am not certain which redistributable runtime libraries I have installed just to make this work (as I have installed these for other purposes) but there is a tool called winetricks: http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks

If you tried running the executable through console via appending it as an argument into wine you should get a more verbose output of what is going on and why things may not work as intended.

so here are some requests for some creations.. a super slammed s2k and a Volkswagon W12. (the golf with the V12).. I would really like the s2k to come out.. and just curious if by using the editor can the wheel selections can be altered to have wheels not available for certain models to now be used for any model ?
 
Does anyone have the -PP Glitchbull on share please? Started a mission to collect the different coloured ones. Getting a bit bored now :grumpy:

38 cars in my garage of hybrids so far
Anyway, I forgot to add the 86 GT '12 at 578bhp, and now a CRz with 130bhp.
For the most part all the power figures quoted are not run in, and well below 200miles. The 394bhp kart is likely to be the initial one that Schewter first popped up with some mileage on, as I noticed mine gained quite a substantial amount after a while.

I counted 16 or 17 new cars hit the scene yesterday alone.

Damnn, i really want the GTR,And give it 1200 BHP..but no one wants to share,there acting like jerks..and say bad thins (Sometimes i dont get those NERDS)
 
RWD Integera Type R on Schewters Share, I just grabed one, its fun :dopey: Still says it's a FF in the spec sheet though.

It's hard to drift as it has a fully open rear diff it seems, and buying the LSD doesn't seem to affect it.
