I am moving into my own house !

Well I am moving out of my parents, or I should say Mother's, home. After 25 years I thought it was about time I sorted myself out and got onto the "property ladder".

I have bought the house with my girlfriend whom I have been with for nearly 4 years. We move in on friday and I am getting quite excited ( I know, Im not 5 anymore but its quite a big change !).

We have bought everything we could think of including a fridge freezer that is more or less as tall as me !! ( quite a feat as I am 6ft 7inches)

She has decided we are having a bright PINK dyson!!

I may be off the forum for a couple of days until I get the pc hooked back up again at the new house, so for those of you that are bothered I'll be o/l again soon.

I havent forgotten about the GT40 cup either - I'll make a point of sorting out my o/l time when Im at her parents house but I cant stay on for ages.

I also plan on getting back into the weekly too - thats when things get settled at the new house.

So wish me luck if you want to and dont if you dont want to !!

Hey, there is nothing like the feeling of getting out on your own, or like moving in with your significant other! Congratulations, BigJames. May you have a happy household.

Congratulations. I just bought a new house, and am in the process of selling my current one.

WE just bought a new house too. Should be moving in the middle of June... :D

Congratulations man. I'm currently in the process myself. I'm also 25 and living with the folks. Though I had moved out for a couple years in the middle there.

No, but I'll see it again in...two weeks.

Congratulations! My wife and I have had our home for two years now, and it's always nice to come home to your own home. Even though you're now responsible for the cooking, cleaning, repairs, restoration, and maintenence, it's always a great feeling to call it your own.

I spent about 3-4 weeks away from the internet and PlayStation, and it was really no big deal because there was so much work to be done.

Im moving too!!! 27th may is my closing day, I get the keys on the same day.....VERY excited..cant wait...we bought beautiful house next to the golf course,

Ive just this minute got the broadband sorted out and its really really quick, especially compared to the old dial-up AOL I was using.

The house is amazing - we've bought just about everything we need.

If you still live at home and are thinking about moving out to your own home DO IT !!!

Now wheres that GT40 gone ???
