Hello to everyone here in this great community!!!
I had made a pre-order of the GT4 us version from Lik-sang back in 31 of july.
Well i received it before 3 days.
I have a Playstation 2 that i modded myself before 5 years with mesiah.
I never had any problems and with other purchases from lik-sang but now it doesn't play at all.
I have order it just in case to have it before pal comes out.
Does anyone heard about this?
I wait for feedback from lik-sang and i will let you all know.
Friendly Plimper.

Here's your answer, clean the lens.

Thanks a lot for your fast feedback mates.
Problem solved!!
It's actually the messiah that is old.

What chip do you recomend me to add now? Any suggestions?

Just an update to all of you... lik-sang contact me and told me that it has to do with some sort of new protection from polyphony and it plays only on original ps2 consoles or with newest chips like you all said people.
I have done a goof lens cleaning and it plays all my other games.Pirated or not.

Thanks to all out here and i guess i 'll have to wait and solder back again a new chip.

I had V7 PS2 with a messiah 2 fake that had the same issue you're having, so that's how I had an idea that it was your problem.

I went out and bought a new slim ps2 cause it was giving me laser issues, and had an Infinity put in, which worked fine. I later found out the infinity was in fact a NH9 and was sold another fake :yuck:

I'd recommend the infinity for slim PS2's and for the fat ones, magic5 or Duo2SE. I've only used a Duo2SE out of the bunch, but the guys at infinity were really great in helping me track down the "fake" chip I bought, so it's safe to assume their customer service is phenominal and they'll help you on pretty much anything.

You may want to look at newer Messiah's and see if they support the dual layer disk, as they may use the same solder points as your old one, and would simply be an issue of resoldering the chips, rather than the ps2 points. I am planning to do this with my current NH9.
