I can't be the only one using the Logitech GT3 (or F-Feedback) wheel - can I?

why do you hate it? the driving force wheel is the one with the controller pads on the wheel, is this the one you hate?

I had a similar thing - I think the GT Force wheel came out a month or two after I bought my GT3 wheel. I wasn't that worried about it, the only difference was the PS2 controls on the face of the wheel. From what I've heard the quality issues were worse with the GT Force wheel than with the GT3 wheel.

The wheel is alot of fun, but I usually use the game pad when I need to be competetive, but if I need a challange I use the wheel and I usually get beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, I havent mastered it yet.

Have you used the wheel on the PC yet?

I was initially a bit hacked off at having to pay so much for the wheel, but the fact that the wheel is PC compatible and it's pretty easy to download the files and set it up properly really improved the value for money. It's brilliant with GP3 and Colin McRae 2 on the PC.

I'm hopeless with the D-Pad and the little analogue joystick. My poor fingers have had too many years of wicket-keeping for the local cricket team, alas.

I use the red PC model of the wheel, and I have never had any problems with it.
(I bought the pc one because it was 50 $ cheaper. )

And, to all of you who don't know if they should buy a wheel:
My wheel laptimes are better than controller laps.

Part of what makes the wheel work is the mounting. I use a towel underneath, both to stop the clamps from scratching the table, and to give it a more solid feel.
