Two times I saw people in here saying "it would be easy".

Please share your setup - I like the car but I find it near impossible to win 24min of Le Mans with it.

It's so much slower in the straights with not so much more cornering speed.

You normally are not able to win this race with a stock R18. There are some possibilities to maybe win, if you are lucky:

- set the rear downforce as low as possible to gain the most straight line speed (should be at least 206 mph)
- start on racing tires (medium)
- if you are lucky the whole AI field pits at the end of lap one

I was not able to win it in a stock R18.

Not nearly fast enough on the long straights, If you can make it 3 laps on a tank of gas that would be your only chance to win.

I did it =)
Stock setup, little extra downforce.
Used racing softs in the rain instead of wets. Switched to mediums later.

I did it too.
Provided you call the Anniv. version 'stock'.
Didn't even change the oil. Drove it as it came ... including tyres.
I wore out the start button doing restarts though. :p

The R18 i win this on Standard Setup , i m not the fastes but in curves at the Porsche curves or every curve at lm is the car awsome

I tried for 2 days. Finally i made it! :D
Change oil and you're ready to go.
My winning strategy was - go as far as you can on first set of Racing Soft tires! Till the dawn they are good, wear is no problem, but i ran out of fuel near the end of 4th or 5th lap, so i have to go to pit. Racing Soft again, and 75-80 liters of fuel should be enough to finish' race on 8th lap, when everybody else finish at pitstop if you lucky enough. But if someone still is chasing you, be carefull, because your rear Racing Softs are near its limits.
