HELLO EVERYBODY As GT is a driving simulator I thing that in GT3 the biggest problem is stopping distances All cars even with simulation tyres stop in extremely short distances In GT2 with controll tyres the stopping distances were very close to real life (3-3.2) sec from 100-0 I hope GT4 will fix this problem THANKS!!!

i'm not sure if the stopping distances are entirely correct either.

but; keep in mind that these cars are on racing slicks (soft maybe)
have professional weight reduction, sport tuned suspension, sports brakes, and a brake balance controller.

do you mean before or after all these upgrades?

NO!!! I refer to normal cars with simulation tyres In GT2 distances are amazingly near real life( with controll tyres of course For examble BMW 840 needs 2.9 sec from 100-0 HONDA 2000 2.8 sec ELISE 190 3.1 sec etc I have really 5500 hours in GT2 in time trial with real life tyres and i am disappointed with GT3 so i want more from GT4 Thanks for reply

They said that the lap times in the game will be accurate within 1 second, so i assume that this means the braking and acceleration are very realistic

I just did a test with a fully moded elise 190, and from 100 - 0 mph it took about 4 to 5 seconds and from 60 to 0 it took about 2.5 seconds. This was fully moded with sim tires so if you were talking about 100kph this would seem perfectly fine and realistic. With all the weight reductions and brake upgrades it would seem that 2.5 seconds would right comparing to 3.1 seconds when completely stock.

If you were talking about 100mph well then, the stopping distances are not short they are long.

HI !!! There is nocar (even supercar) that takes 2.5 sec to stop from 100-0 KM\H (May be FERRARI ENZO with ceramic diskbrakes) I refer to KM\h in GT2 with control tyres I trully believe that GT4 will fix this problem Thanks for replies

I just don't want to see useless cars like Diahatsu vehicles and the Vitz. I don't care who you are, but there is something wrong with you if you even think TWICE about driving a Bubblegum Pink Vitz.

All braking issues aside here,

If I work a 40 hour week for two yeras, I come up with 4000 hours. So what you're saying is that you've worked a 40 hour week playing GT2 on real life tires for 2 years and 9 months?

Is it just me or does this sound a bit odd?

Uh, anyway.
From what I played at the Playstation experience, the braking distances seemed longer than gt3. Although it looks like the braking is allot more realistic this time around, if you brake real hard you can actually loose control of the car.

It's not just you.

Actually the Pink Vitz is one of my favorite cars in the game. It has a certain look to it that other cars don't. I would say its the top car in my garage.

Two words - oval tracks.

I can see the point of having the super speedway track so that your kid brother / sprog can have a go, but let's have it confined to the amateur races where it belongs.

And as for the test track, by all means have it available for testing, but don't make us race on it! :banghead:

Thoes test track races were just dull. As for speedways maybe 1 real one (Daytona) to compliment super speedway, but I don't think we have to worry about having loads of oval tracks, KY like his tracks to be fun and challenging.

Especially the Vitz Cup race there. 10 Laps. Took damn near a half hour to beat that thing.

That's really why I don't like the Vitz. Not b/c of it's looks, but b/c even MY car in real life could beat it. Yes, my crappy stock 4 door Honda Civic with it's D15 motor that burns oil. I don't respect many cars that are slower than mine.
